المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث تحليلا لعنصر المكان في رواية "البيت الصامت" للكاتب التركي أورهان باموك الحائز على جائزة نوبل للآداب عام 2006. يتكون البحث بالإضافة للمقدمة من جزئين في كل منها ثلاث أبواب. الجزء الأول يقدم تعريفا لمصطلحات البحث ولمفهوم المكان وجمالياته بالإضافة إلى تقديم موجز للرواية وكاتبها. أما الجزء الثاني فهو يتناول علاقة عنصر المكان في رواية "البيت الصامت" وعلاقتها بالعناصر السردية الأخرى في الرواية ومدى تفاعلها معها لذا نجد الباب الأول يتناول علاقة المكان بالأحداث؛ ومن ثم علاقة المكان بالشخوص وفي الباب الثالث يتم تحليل علاقة المكان بالزمن. وينتهي البحث بنتائج تخص هذه الرواية "المكانية" ابتداءا من عنوانها؛ تتلخص هذه النتائج بالدور الأساسي الذي لعبه المكان في تلك الرواية والذي يتجاوز كونه مكان تجري فيه الأحداث ليتحول إلى عنصرا أساسيا في الرواية.

La recherche analyse l’élément de l’espace narratif dans le roman de « La Maison du Silence » de l’auteur turc, Orhan Pamuk qui a reçu le Prix Nobel de la littérature en 2006. La recherche est composée de deux parties dont chacune contient trois sous-parties. La première partie expose la terminologie de la recherche ; la notion de l’esthétique de l’espace et puis un résumé du roman et une présentation de son auteur. En ce qui concerne la deuxième partie, elle aborde l’élément de l’espace dans « La Maison du Silence » et son rapport avec les autres éléments narratifs dans le roman ; leurs effets sur l’espace lui-même. Ainsi la première sous-partie sera axée sur la relation entre l’espace et les événements ; la deuxième sous-partie concerne l’étude des effets de l’espace sur les personnages. Tandis que la troisième sous-partie présente la relation de l’espace avec le temps dans le roman. La recherche se termine avec certaines conclusions concernant ce roman « spatial » dès son titre. Il s’agit de souligner dans les conclusions, le rôle capital de l’espace dans ce roman; il dépasse le rôle d’un simple décor où se passent les événements pour devenir un acteur principal du roman.

The paper deals with the element of the narrative space in “The Silent House”, written by Nobel Prize winner, the Turkish author, Orhan Pamuk. The study consists, in addition to the introduction, of two parts: the first part focuses on the terminology of the research; the notion of the space and its esthetic; and finally the representation of the author and his works. The second part analyses the relation between the narrative space and the other narrative elements in “The Silent House” such as: the events, the personages and the time. The study ends with certain conclusions concerning this novel in which the space takes a very remarkable place starting from its title. The conclusion shows that the space in this novel isn’t just a simple decor but it’s a capital element of the novel.
