|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في أسباب نشأة الشركات متعددة الجنسيات (MNCs) أو (Multinational (MNEs) Companies or Enterprises) في محافظة إربد، وتطورها الزماني، وتحديد توزيعها المكاني ومراكز تجمعها، والتعرف إلى طبيعية الخدمات المقدمة وأنوع السلع. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للوصول إلى النتائج، وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن أهم أسباب النشأة يعود إلى انخفاض كلفة الإنتاج والأيدي العاملة في هذه المحافظة، وهي ميزات موقعيه خاصة بالمحافظة. كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن مجال الخدمات العامة هو الأكثر استقطابا للشركات المتعددة الجنسيات في منطقة الدراسة، حيث استحوذ على ما نسبته %27.72 من مجمل أنشطة الشركات متعددة الجنسيات في إربد.

|b This study aimed to investigate the causes of multinational companies (MNCs) or MNEs establishment in Irbid Governorate and their development in terms of temporal development and spatial distribution, as well as the locations of their clusters. In addition, the study identified the nature of services and goods provided by these companies. The analytical descriptive approach was used to analyze the data of the study. The study concluded that the most important reasons for the growth of a company is due to the low cost of production and labors in this governorate, which are considered as special characteristics of these sites in Irbid. The study also found that services sector is the most attractive sector for multinational companies in the study area and accounted for 27.72% of the total activities of multinational companies in Irbid.
