المستخلص: The research paper aim is to investigate teachers of English perceptions and real practices in regard with teaching grammar to primary grade pupils in the state of Kuwait. It is also to clarify the relationship between such perceptions and classroom practices. There is a need to such a type of research paper in the State of Kuwait to get teachers of English be aware of the significance of knowing one's teaching belief on teaching grammar to young learners. A mixture of qualitative and quantitative research was applied. For collecting data, several tools were actually used including a survey questionnaire, interviews with some teachers of English and an observation card to observe teachers of English inside the classrooms. The data was illustrated and analysed to get the last results that revealed a very destinct relationship is found between instructors' perception concerning grammar teaching process to young learners and the practices that are carried out in the classroom. So it is highly recommended that teachers of English language in the primary stage should be familiar with their actual teaching beliefs away from the traditional way of teaching since it is quite necessary to develop their existing standards through creating positive alternations towards teaching grammar to young learners that so many teachers may unfortunately ignore to do so nowadays in most primary schools in the State of Kuwait.
