|a توصف حوسبة المعاجم بأنها واحدة من أهم المباحث في مجال حوسبة اللغة، نظرا لما تستهدفه من آفاق في اتجاه استغلال الذكاء الاصطناعي من أجل تحقيق اندماج تام بين اللغة والآلة، وتوظيف ذلك في التواصل والترجمة وتعليمية اللغات وغيرها، هذه المستهدفات كلها تضع الباحثين والمجامع اللغوية أمام الكثير من التحديات سواء تلك التي تتعلق بالآلة ذاتها، أم تلك التي تتعلق بطبيعة اللغة مما يستوجب تطويع بعض جوانبها وجعلها ميسرة الاستخدام أمام الآلة. وإذا اعتبرنا أن اللغة العربية متأخرة في مجال الحوسبة اللغوية وحوسبة المعاجم مقارنة باللغات الأخرى فهذا يعني أن أمام الباحثين والهيئات اللغوية العربية مزيدا من التحديات من أجل تدارك التأخر ومواكبة المستجدات التقنية والرقمية في مجال حوسبة اللغة، ومن أجل الوصول إلى كثير المستهدفات التي يمكن تحقيقها من وراء حوسبة المعاجم، كالترجمة الآلية والترجمة الفورية والتدقيق الإملائي والنحوي وتعليمية اللغات وغيرها من المستهدفات التي نرجوها من خلال حوسبة المعاجم العربية.

If we consider that Arabic is late in the field of the computerization of languages and lexicons compared to other languages, it means that researchers and the Arabic language institutions have more challenges in order to remedy the delay And keep up with the technical and digital developments in the field of computerization of language, In order to reach many of the objectives that can be achieved through the computerization of dictionaries, And in order to reach many objectives that can be achieved through the computerization of the lexicons, such as automatic translation and interpretation, spelling and grammar, and the teaching of languages and other objectives that we want through the computerization of the Arabic dictionaries.
