المستخلص: "الموقف هو الرؤية الإنسانية الشاملة التي تحدد نظرة الأديب للحياة من حوله، فقد يكون الأديب صاحب موقف إذا استطعنا أن نتبين ذلك من خلال أعماله – مهما تنوعت – ووحدة شعورية وفكرية إزاء عناصر الوجود، وقد لا يكون صاحب موقف إذا عجزنا عن تبين هذه الوحدة وإن أنفق حياته في الحديث عن موضوع واحد"، فالموقف يعني الوحدة الشعورية التي يصدر عنها أفكار الشاعر ورؤاه. فالموقف والأداة إذا وجهان لعملة واحدة، فقد يكون الموضوع واحد، وتتعدد طريقة القول في، ولكن الطريقة التي تلتحم بموضوعها، وتنصهر فيه هي التي تنتج عملاً متكاملا، اما القصيدة التي تتمزق فيها أواصر الارتباط والائتلاف بين المقول وكيفية القول، هي بحق تعد من أعظم قصائد الشعر فشلا. فلابد من التعبير الصادق عن الأمور المألوفة والعادية بأسلوب سلس بسيط حتى لا يفسد العمل الأدبي، الذي ينبغي أن يشعر فيه المتلقى بتلقائيته مها بذل فيه من جهد مضن، ومهارة الأديب تتجلى في إخفاء جهده في البناء، ومعاناته في التشكيل، ومزجها بموقفه الفكري والفني. وهذه الوحدة هي التي تصنع موقفا متماسكا للشاعر، ولا يخلو تجزؤ هذا الموقف العام إلى مواقف جزئية، تبعا لما يعصف بالشاعر من مواقف ومنحنيات، تغير مجرى حياته.
