المستخلص: تعتبر رواية الحمار الذهبي لأبوليوس من الروايات الأولى في تاريخ الأدب الروائي، حيث سجلت هاجس الإنسان، ورحلته الفطرية في البحث عن الهوية، وعلة انتقائنا لهذه العينة راجع لمؤشرين: تأكيد صاحب الرواية نفسه على هويته المداورشية، والتي تربطه بمكان الولادة، والمؤشر الثاني للاختيار عائد إلى الرواية نفسها، والتي تبدأ بالإشارة إلى تحولات الهوية، والهوية في نظر لوكيوس غير مرتبطة بالفردية البيولوجية، أو الانتماءات الثقافية، والإثنية، بل مرتبطة بالجوهر الذي هو العقل، فالمؤشرات الثانوية في الهوية تؤسس للشخصية المادية، التي هي بالأصل متعلقة بالوجه الحيواني، اللامعقول في الشخصية الإنسانية. أما العنصر الكريم في الهوية، والذي يكون الصفة الذهبية في الحمار هو العقل المستنير بوحي المقدس، فإنسانية الإنسان عند لوكيوس لا تتحقق إلا بالتحرر من هوية الحمار، والاستنارة بنور العقل الذهبي (الوسطية) النور الذي يمكنه من إدراك ذاته، ومعرفة غيره، وهو النور المستنير بكونية الإنسان.

The novel of the golden ass of Lucius Apuleius is the first novel in the history of literature, dealing with a cultural problem suffered by humanity, which is the problem of identity found in the cultural history of Algeria. In the novel The Golden Ass, Lucius Apuleius treat the problem of the individual with identity. The cultural and philosophical affiliation of the Greeks, for example, does not alter the identity of the person and no matter how strong the political circumstances that Algeria has undergone, the Algerian identity remains present. In the research we will address the problem of identity through the dialectic of stability and change through the novel of the golden ass.

littérature et réalité c'est une axiome dans la théorie de la littérature, on peut plus démontrer, car les chefs-d'oeuvre littéraires c'est des modèles qui présente les actes, et les faits humains, et les métamorphoses d'Apulée de Madaure auteur du IIe siècle après Jésus-Christ, originaire d'Algérie. les Métamorphoses ou L'Âne d'or, en onze livres. C'est le récit, fait à la première personne, d'un certain Lucius, un jeune homme curieux de tout, qui, s'étant frotté de trop près à la magie, se voit transformé en âne. Et Dans cet article on traite l' oeuvre d' Apulée comme document historique contient le problème d'identité chez l'algérien, qui trouve dans ca diversité culturelle une problématique concernant sa stabilité identitaire, et avec Apulée on trouve l'identité comme un nouveau espace, un lieu de rencontre entre les êtres.
