المستخلص: شهد الدرس اللغوي في العصر الحديث تطورا كبيرا، مع ظهور اللسانيات الحديثة على يد اللغوي فرديناند دي سوسير Ferdinand de Saussure، الذي أعاد النظر في كثير من المفاهيم التي كانت سائدة قبل، وقد شمل هذا التغيير الأسس النظرية التي كانت تتبنى عليها هذه الدراسة، ولما كان الأمر على هذه الشاكلة فقد عني أصحاب كل لغة بلغتهم، لذا فعلم الصوتيات ليس علما جديدا؛ لأنه واحد من العلوم التي تقوم عليها اللغة، ومن المعلوم أن العرب من السباقين في الدراسة اللغوية والصوتي على وجه الخصوص، وكان لهم تراث ضخم أفاد منه المعاصرون بصورة كبيرة، وقد شهد بذلك كبار منظريهم.

The language lesson in the modern era has evolved considerably, with the emergence of modern linguistics by Ferdinand de Saussure, who has reexamined many of the concepts that had previously been prevalent. This change encompassed the theoretical foundations upon which this study was based. And as the matter was upon such a situation, the people of each language concerned themselves with their own language. As such, the science of sounds is not a new science, because it is one of the areas of knowledge upon which language is based. It is well known that Arabs are from those who first engaged in linguistic and vocal studies in particular, and that they have a huge heritage which contemporaries have benefitted from considerably, as has been witnessed by their great theorists.

Les études linguistiques de l'époque moderne ont connu un grand dévelappement avec l' avènement de La linguistique par le linguiste Ferdinand De Saussure qui a reconsidéré plusieurs concepts qui prévalaient avant. Ce changement a indu les fondements théoriques sur lesquelles a été construit cette étude.
Selon cette règle, chaque communauté s’est occupé de sa langue. Sur cette base, la phonétique n'est pas considéreé comme une science nouvelle parce qu’elle est l'une des sciences sur lesquelles se fonde la langue.
Ansi, les arabes sont compté parmi les premiers dans l'étude linguistique et phonétique en particulier. Ils ont un patrimoine énorme dont les contemporains ont bénéficié d’avantage, selon le temoingnage de leurs grands théoriciens.
