المستخلص: The general census of the population in Algeria of 2008, and the economic census conducted in 2011, revealed serious imbalances in terms of the distribution of population and economic activities, including industry, across the various parts of the country.
Considering that the economic fabric of any country is built through the various historical periods it is going through, this article aims to study the effects of the settlement of industries during the colonial period on the formation of the national industrial map after independence. This requires adopting a historical approach to understand the causes of regional imbalances between the different parts of Algeria.

Le recensement sur la population effectué en Algérie en 2008, et le recensement économique réalisé en 2011, ont révélé de graves déséquilibres en matière de répartition de la population et des activités économiques, notamment les industries, sur l’espace national.
En partant du principe que le tissu industriel d’un pays se constitue, peu à peu, à travers les différentes phases de son histoire, ce présent article vise à examiner les effets des localisations des industries durant la période de colonisation, sur la configuration de la carte industrielle nationale après l’indépendance. Cela requiert l’adoption d’une approche historique pour comprendre les raisons de déséquilibre qui caractérise l’espace national.


التعداد العام للسكان في الجزائر لعام 2008، والتعداد الاقتصادي الذي أجري في عام 2011، كشفا اختلالات خطيرة من حيث توزيع السكان والأنشطة الاقتصادية، بما في ذلك الصناعة، عبر مختلف ربوع الوطن.
باعتبار أن النسيج الاقتصادي لأي بلد يبنى عبر مختلف الحقب التاريخية التي يمر بها، يهدف هذا المقال إلى دراسة آثار توطين الصناعات خلال الفترة الاستعمارية على تكوين الخريطة الصناعية الوطنية بعد الاستقلال. هذا يتطلب اعتماد مقاربة تاريخية لفهم أسباب الاختلالات الإقليمية بين مختلف أنحاء الجزائر.
