|f All the grammarian have stated that (ka-ma) is composite of the Arabic alphabet ‘kaaf’ and ‘meem. Sībawayh pointed to the permissibility of treating ‘ka-ma’ as a single letter having meaning. \nBy extrapolating the verses of the Holy Qur'an, we find that ‘ka-ma’ is mentioned in the Quranic format in two forms: 1 — Where ‘ka-ma’ occurred between two similar factors, and the words of the Arabic grammarians almost agreed that it is a composite of the Kaaf that is for simile and that it is in place of Nasab framed as an adjective of an infinitive form of a verb, or a condition of pronoun that comes back to that infinitive.\n2 — Where ‘ka-ma’ occurred between two different factors. The word of the grammarians and the Mufasserin (interpreters) differed in its simplicity or composition from the ‘Kaaf’ and ‘Maa’. Most of them considered it to be a composite of Kaaf for simile and ‘ma’, then their opinion differed for ‘ma’. It is Pronominal or Gerundival or Preventative. By studying these places in the books of grammar, Tafseer (quranic interpretation) and the syntax of the Holy Qur'an, we find that the scholars of language and interpretation differ in the literalness or name of the Kaaf, in ‘ka-ma’, and therefore they differ in their syntax.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
