المستخلص: لقد كان الهدف من إرسال الرسل هداية البشرية للنجاة بها من الشرك والمعاصي، وصيانة عقل الإنسان من الأوهام والخرافات، وكان من مقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية العبادة القائمة على عقيدة صافية خالية من البدع والفساد، يطابق فيها العمل الإيمان والفعل القول، وبالطبع فإن كل مسلم حريص على أن يكون عمله موافقاً للشرع غير مخالف له، ولا يتم ذلك إلا بتمام الاتباع لما جاء به الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وترك المخالفة من زيادة أو نقصان، ولكن من طبيعة الإنسان الخطأ، والوقوع في المعاصي – خلال البدع - في مجالات الدين كلها اعتقاد اً وقولا وعملاً. وهكذا أصاب المسلمين ما أصاب غيرهم من داء الأمم في الزيغ عن المنبع الصافي، فضلاً عن التقليد المذموم واتباع سنن من قبلهم.
وظهور البدع من ضمن ما ابتلي به المسلمون قديماً وحديثاً، كوان له الأثر الكبير في انقسام الأمة وتم زقها إلى طوائف ومن ثم ضعفها وتمكن أعدائها منها.
ولقد اشتهر عند الصحابة والتابعين وأهل العلم المقابلة بين السنة والبدعة وقالوا: ما أحدث قوم بدعة إلا أضاعوا مثلها من السنة، وعلى هذا لابد للمسلم أن يملك المعيار الصحيح الذي يمكنه بوساطته التعامل مع المسائل التي تواجهه في حياته، وفي حكمه على عمله وأعمال الآخرين، ومن هنا جاءت أهمية هذا البحث لمعرفة أمرين اثنين هما: بيان أسباب وقوع البعض في البدع، وبيان آثار هذه البدع على الفرد والمجتمع المسلم.
والبحث يقع في تمهيد ومبحثين وخاتمة: التمهيد في مفهوم البدعة

The purpose of sending the apostles was to guide mankind and save them from polytheism and sin, and to protect the human mind from illusions and superstitions. One of the purposes of the Islamic Shariah was worshiping based on a pure belief free from Bida’h (innovations in religious matters) and corruption, in which the action is in harmony with faith and deed matches word. Therefore, every Muslim is keen to ensure that his acts match Shari'a and are not contrary to it. This can only be achieved by following the whole of what was brought by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and forbade the violation of any of it, by increasing or decreasing. But human nature is so that it commits mistakes and falls in sins through innovations in religious matters in all spheres of religion by belief, word, or act. Thus, Muslims suffered like their predecessor nations from the disease, i.e. abating from the pure source, in addition to copying and following the traditions and ways of their predecessors.
The emergence of Bid'ah is among the things that plagued the Muslims now and in the past, as it has a great impact on the division of Muslim Ummah, then tearing it into sects, thus weakening it and enabling its enemies to do so.
The confrontation between Sunnah and the Bid'ah is known among the Sahaabah, Taabi'een, and the scholars of knowledge. They said: No people have created an innovation (in religious matters) unless they have lost the same kind of Sunnah. Based on that, the Muslim must have the correct standard through which he can deal with the issues that he faces in his life and in judging his actions and those of others. This is the reason behind the importance of this study to know two issues, i.e., why some people fall in Bida’h and its consequences on the individual and the Muslim society.
The study includes an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. Introduction deals with the concept of Bida’h.
First Chapter: Causes of Bid’ah from the Quranic perspective
Second Chapter: Damages and Consequences of Bid’ah from the Quranic perspective
Conclusion: Findings reached by the study.
