المستخلص: مع أكثر من مليار سائح يسافرون حول العالم سنويا، أصبحت السياحة قطاعًا يتمتع بإمكانيات عالية للنمو والتنمية الاقتصادية. إذ تعد عنصرا لا يتجزأ من سياسة التنمية الاقتصادية للعديد من البلدان والمناطق، سواء المتقدمة منها أو في طريق النمو، كما أصبحت تشكل بالنسبة لهم وسيلة أساسية للتنويع الاقتصادي. غير أنَّ، وكغير القطاعات الاقتصادية الأخرى، للسياحة آثار سلبية على البيئة الطبيعية والثقافية والاجتماعية للسكان المحليين. في هذا السياق، وعن طريق استغلال أصولها السياحية وصحرائها المليئة بالتاريخ والغنية بالتراث الطبيعي والثقافي والاجتماعي، يمكن للجزائر أن تتحول إلى وجهة سياحية أساسية. رغم ذلك، على تطوير السياحة في الجزائر أن يعتمد على مبادئ السياحة المستدامة، من أجل حماية مواردها التي لا تقدر بثمن وضمان التنمية المستدامة.

With more than one billion tourists crossing the world every year, tourism became a sector with a strong potential of economic growth and development. Tourism has become an integral element of economic development policy for many countries and regions, both in the developed and less developed worlds. However, as other sectors of development tourism can have environmental, social and cultural negative impacts on local residents. In this context, and by exploiting its touristic assets and its Sahara, full of history, natural, cultural and social heritage, Algeria could become a must-see tourist destination. Nevertheless, the development of tourism must rely on the sustainable tourism principles, in order to protect its priceless resources and assure a sustainable development.

Avec plus d’un milliard de touristes qui sillonnent le monde chaque année, le tourisme est devenu un secteur à fort potentiel de croissance et de développement économique. Il est prisé par de nombreux pays qu’ils soient développés ou en cours de développement, et constitue pour eux un moyen indéniable de diversification économique. Cependant, comme tout secteur économique, le tourisme a des impacts négatifs sur l’environnement naturel, culturel et social des populations locales. Dans ce contexte, l’Algérie grâce à ces atouts touristiques et à son Sahara, plein d’histoire et riche en patrimoine naturel, culturel et social, peut devenir une destination touristique incontournable. Il faudra néanmoins, que ce développement soit basé sur les principes du tourisme durable, afin de conserver ses richesses inestimables et assurer un développement durable.
