المستخلص: The term sustainable tourism development is used on all forms of development of the tourist activity that respects, preserves and makes long-term value of natural resources, cultural and social territory. The Algerian Sahara remains largely under-exploited in comparison with neighboring deserts while its potential is much higher. The main solution we propose through this study is to create well-designed tours that would, first, attract the tourist activity and, on the other hand, guide the majority of the people around to go towards modernity while preserving the authenticity of their environment. With targeted activities, that would give added value to sites and could largely benefit to the region.
