المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على واقع تطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة بجامعة العريش كنموذج للجامعات المصرية الأخرى، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في تناول الإطار النظري للدراسة التي تضمنت ثلاثة محاور رئيسة، شملت: دراسة الإطار المفاهيمى لحوكمة الجامعات، ودراسة ميدانية لواقع توافر مبادئ الحوكمة بجامعة العريش، والتصور المقترح لتطوير حوكمة جامعة العريش. واعتمد الباحث في بناء التصور المقترح على نتائج الدراسات السابقة، والمعطيات العلمية للدراسة النظرية، ودراسة الإطار المفاهيمي لحوكمة الجامعات، والدراسة الميدانية لواقع توافر مبادئ الحوكمة بجامعة العريش، وشمل التصور المقترح أربعة عناصر رئيسة، هي: المنطلقات الفكرية، ومراحل التصور المقترح، وكيفية التجريب، وآليات ما بعد التجريب. وقدم الباحث في نهاية الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات لتطوير حوكمة جامعة العريش بشكل خاص، والجامعات المصرية الأخرى بشكل عام وفق واقع كل جامعة.

The present study aims to identify the reality of applying the principles of governance at Arish University as a model for other Egyptian universities. To achieve this objective, the researcher uses the analytical descriptive approach in dealing with the theoretical framework of the study which included three main axes: Studying the conceptual framework of the universities governance, a field study of the reality of the governance principles availability at Arish University, and a proposed vision for the development of Arish University governance. In adopting the proposed vision, the researcher depends on the results of the previous studies, the scientific data of the theoretical study, studying the conceptual framework of the universities governance, and a field study of the reality of the governance principles availability at Arish University. The proposed vision includes four main elements: the intellectual basics, the stages of the proposed visions, the method of experimentation, and the post-experimental mechanisms. At the end of the study, the researcher presents a set of recommendations to develop the governance of Arish University, in particular, and of other Egyptian universities, in general, according to the reality of each university.
