المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى التعرف على دور فروع جامعة حائل بالمحافظات (الحائط - الشملى - موقق - شنان - غزالة - سميرة - بقعاء) في خدمة المجتمع المحلي بالحافظات من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس بفروع الجامعة. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم اتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم تصميم استبانة مكونة من 6 محاور تتضمن (43) فقرة، بحيث تغطي متغيرات الدراسة. وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بفروع الجامعة السبع، وقد بلغ إجمالي عددهم (137) عضو هيئة تدريس، وباستخدام أسلوب العينة الطبقية العشوائية تم توزيع (130) استبيان، على عينة الدراسة وتم استرداد (100) استبيان، بنسبة (77%) وتم استبعاد (4) استبيانات لعدم استكمال البيانات، وتم استخدام مجموعة من الأساليب الإحصائية لتحليل بيانات الدراسة باستخدام برامج الحزم الإحصائية (SPSS) وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: - دور فروع جامعة حائل بالمحافظات في خدمة المجتمع المحلي متوسط. - توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين فروع الجامعة السبع في خدمة المجتمع المحلي بالمحافظات من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس لصالح فرع موقق والبقعاء. - لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) لدور فروع الجامعة في خدمة المجتمع وفقا لمتغيرات (الدرجة العلمية - عدد سنوات الخبرة - عدد الدورات التدريبية في مجال الجودة). وأوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها: 1- اعتماد الجامعة للتصور المقترح لتفعيل دور فروع الجامعة في خدمة المجتمع المحلي وتقديم الدعم اللازم لتطبيق هذا التصور. 2- توطيد العلاقة بين فروع الجامعة بالمحافظات والمجتمع المحلي، وذلك من خلال وضع إدارة جامعة حائل كافة إمكانيات الفروع وجميع مرافقها لخدمة المجتمع المحلي. 3- تفعيل الشراكة بين فروع الجامعة والمؤسسات الإنتاجية المختلفة بالمحافظات. 4- تقديم الدعم المادي والمعنوي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لتشجيعهم على المشاركة في خدمة المجتمع.

The purpose of the current study aimed to identify the role of the branches of University of Hail in local community service in the governorates from the point of view of the faculty members at these branches which are: Alhayeit, Shamli, Mogeg, Shanan Ghazala, Samira, and Baqaa. We used the method of descriptive analysis, and designed a questionnaire made up of 43 items divided into 6 axes which cover the variables of the study. The sample of the study was made up of 137 faculty members at the seven branches. Using the random stratified sample method, 130 questionnaires were distributed on the sample of the study, 100 questionnaires were retrieved with a percentage of 77%, and 4 questionnaires were excluded. A number of statistical methods were used to analyze the study data using statistical packages (SPSS). The findings of the study indicate that the branches of University of Hail plays an average role in local community service. Also, there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the seven branches of the University (Alhayeit, Shamli, Mogeg Shanan, Ghazala, Samira, Baqaa) in local community service from the point of view of the faculty members, and the highest was in Mogeg and Baqaa branches. In addition, there are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) for the role of university branches in local community service according to degree of faculty member number of years of experience, and number of training courses attended in the field of quality assurance. Based on our findings, the following set of recommendations needs to be taken into account: - To adopt the proposed vision by University of Hail to activate the role of the university branches in serving the local community, and provide the necessary support to implement this vision. - To consolidate the relationship between the university branches and the local community, through the higher administration of the University of Hail, by supporting the local community in all possible ways including the use of branches’ facilities and resources. - To activate the partnership between the university branches and the different productive institutions in the governorates. - To provide financial and moral support to faculty members and encourage them to participate in community service.
