الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، وبعد: فالصلاة هي الركن الثاني من أركان الإسلام، ودخول الوقت من أهم شروطها، وهذا البحث مخصص لوقت صلاة الفجر، لكونه أثير حوله بعض الجدل، وقيل وقت دخوله حسب تقويم أم القرى متقدم على الوقت الصحيح للفجر الصادق، فرأيت أن أجمع ما نقل إلينا من عمل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وعمل خلفائه الراشدين رضي الله عنهم مما يبين أن وقت صلاة الفجر في عهد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وصحابته كان يتسع لأعمال لا يكفيها الوقت الذي يرى بعض الباحثين أنه وقت لها، وأن الوقت حسب تقويم أم القرى أقرب إلى موافقة ما نقل إلينا من ذلك، فالبحث يسهم من زاوية مختلفة في تقرير صحة الوقت الذى يصلى فيه المسلمون اليوم في المملكة العربية السعودية، وأن كون بعض الناس لم ير الفجر إلا بعد التقويم بثلث ساعة أو أقل أو أكثر فهذا ليس بغريب، ولا سيما في الأجواء الحالية، كيف وقد وقع خفاء وقت الفجر على بعض الناس حتى في زمن الصحابة رضي الله عنهم.
The Prayer is the second pillar of Islam and one of its prerequisites is to make sure that its time is due. This paper discusses the timing of Dawn Prayer because it was controversial to some people. Some argue that the due time according to Makkah calendar is after the exact time of the true Dawn. Therefore, I collected all the action traditions of the prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, and his orthodox caliphs, may Allah be pleased with them all. I showed that the time of Dawn during the lifetime of the prophet and his companions was long enough for many practices that could not be performed during the time suggested by some researchers. Further, the timing of the Makkah calendar is more likely in conformity with the traditions. This paper affirms from a different angle the appropriateness of the timing in which Muslim observe their prayers in the Kingdom of Saluda Arabia today, though it is not uncommon that people do not see the dawn about twenty minutes after, particularly in the current weathers. The timing was not clearly designated by some people even during the era of the prophet’s companions, may Allah be please with them all.
