المستخلص: (القياس على القليل بين البصريين والكوفيين. قراءة في المنهج والتطبيق). أهميته: يهدف هذا البحث إلى معالجة مسألة من مسائل القياس المختلف فيها بين النحاة، وهي مسألة القياس على القليل بين البصريين والكوفيين، ففي دراستنا لعلم العربية نمر على أحكام تختلف فيها آراء العلماء، فيقصرها بعضهم على السماع، ويراها آخرون من مواطن القياس، وما زالت تتردد في كتب النحو عبارة (يحفظ ولا يقاس عليه) عند فريق من النحويين، دون غيره، ولم يتوافر أحد في دراستها غالبا على ظني أن أحدا لم يتطرق إلى معالجته بهذه الكيفية، فقد كتب عن القياس الكثير، من كتب مستقلة أو بحوث ضمن كتب ورسائل، وأشاروا فيما كتبوا إلى القياس على القليل، كإشارات عابرة لا تتجاوز وريقات، دون تتبع لهذا القيل المقيس عليه بين أئمة البصريين والكوفيين. وقد وضح البحث تحديد القليل، وضوابط القياس عليه، وتتبع المسائل والأحكام النحوية التي اعتمد البصريين والكوفيين علي القليل في استخلاصها واستنباطها، وصحح من خلال ذكر النماذج أن البصريين استفادوا من القليل كالكوفيين، وأن الكوفيين لم يقيسوا على كل مسموع، كما يتردد في كتب النحاة قديما وحديثا.

Significance of the Research: The research aims to address one of the different issues among grammarians. This issue is modicum-based analogy between the Basriens and the Kufians, identifying the extent of the modicum and its definition and measurement controls following the issues on which the two groups relied on the modicum to extract and identify the grammatical judgments. The Research Contents: 1. Introduction: It presents the significance of the research, its plan and the way it is addressed. 2. Preface: It contains the definition of the research terms (Modicum and Analogy). 3. Chapter One: Its title is modicum-based analogy among the Basriens. The chapter discusses their approach in dealing with the linguistic phenomena that marked by scarcity, and their attitude toward constructing the grammatical judgments from Siboyeh to Al-Akhfash Al-Awsat, and to explain what is the contradiction between the curriculum and application. 4. Chapter Two: Its title is modicum based analogy among the Kufians. It discusses the Kufians` method in modicum based analogy. It also presents some examples of how they dealt with this modicum. Further, it shows how they used the modicumbased analogy to identifying the grammatical judgments. 5. Conclusion included the most important results and benefits, which included that: • The term of modicum and other induction terms is one of the dialect differences. • The Basriens, as the Kufians, depended on the modicum in constructing the grammatical base. • The modicum is accepted in case it agreed with the analogy. On contrary, if it contradicts the analogy, it is preserved.
