|a هدفت الدراسة لإنتاج نسخة عربية من مقياس العاطفة الأساسية (BES)، وتم استعراض الأدبيات ذات الصلة المتعلقة بالعاطفة و Oatley وجونسون ليرد (1987) ، وبورد ودالغليش السلطة ودالغليش (1997، 2008، 2015) ، وبور (2006)، ونظرية الانفعالات على وجه الخصوص. وتم التطبيق على عينة مكونة من (500) طالب جامعي (ذكور وإناث) وكشفت النتائج عن ما يلي: أولا: أظهر المقياس مستوى دال إحصائياً للأبعاد التالية: (0.60 = Cronbach؛ الحزن = 0.820 ؛ الاشمئزاز = 0.718. الخوف = 0.783 والسعادة = 0.757) على التوالي، وتم الاستعانة بالمتوسطات والانحرافات المعيارية، كما أظهرت النتائج أيضا مستوى مقبولا من الصلاحية والذي تم تقييمه من خلال تناسق نطاق التحليل العاملي المتعدد. وتم مناقشة نتائج الدراسة الحالية في ضوء الإطار النظري ذي الصلة، واختتمت باقتراح المزيد من الدراسات في هذا المجال.

|b The purpose of this research study was to produce a Suadi Arabian version of the Basic Emotion Scale (BES). Relevant literature relating to emotion and Oatley and Johnson Laird (1987), Power and Dalgleish (1997, 2008, 2015), Power (2006) theory of emotion in particular was reviewed. The BES was administrated to a sample of 500 university students (males and females). The results reveal the following: First, the scale showed a substantive level of reliability in terms of Cronbach's alpha Anger= 0.60; Sadness= 0.820; Disgust=0.718; Fear= 0.783 and Happiness= 0.757 respectively. The study provided means; standard deviations and results also demonstrated an acceptable level of validity, which was assessed through both item-scale consistency and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The results of the current study were discussed in the light of relevant theoretical framework, and was concluded by suggesting further studies in the field
