The 21st Israeli Knesset election, held on 9 April 2019, saw the winning of both right wing and religious parties with 65 out of 120 seats. On the other hand, center-left occupied 45 seats, except for the Arab parties with 10 seats. Therefore, the Likud, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, is supposed form the new government with its 36 seats. The results show no key change in the political and partisan landscape. The Israeli right is not only in control, but it has also increased in power, especially its leader. Nor has there been any difference in the political doctrine of the Israelis, in general, and the electorates, in particular. The poll clearly reflects the reality of the Israeli community, which has become more extremist and hostile than ever. Even the blue-white generals alliance, expected to play the role of the opposition side in Parliament, is no more a beautified image of that right. The old, new reality forged by the ballots imposes on the Palestinians the serious consideration of non-traditional strategies to manage the crisis likely to harm the Palestinian issue in the upcoming period of Israeli right rule. The Palestinian and Arab constants with regard to any solutions will most probably be negatively affected, mainly an independent Palestinian state – with Jerusalem as its capital - and the return of the refugees. On the top of possible options proposed to counter such challenges are pushing for a national reconciliation as well as setting straightforward mechanisms agreed upon by all factions to thwart the Deal of the Century, which the US Administration is attempting to impose on the region.
