The hospitality industry is currently reeling under the effects of fierce competition. As a result, the UAE hospitality industry has started to explore creative ways to attract and retain their customers. In current study, the major aim is to test the role of supervisor support and trust in supervisor in boosting employee innovative behavior. The research data was collected from 675 front line employees and 108 supervisors in 27 five-star hotels in Dubai, UAE. The current study adopted Structural Equation Modeling to investigate this relationship. This research highlighted a positive link between supervisor support and employee innovative behavior, and between trust in supervisor and employee innovative behavior. As well as, some theoretical and managerial implications had been discussed in this paper. |
