المستخلص: This research aims to enhance employees’ and customers’ satisfaction, productivity and profitability in the local Egyptian Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs). These will be achieved by adopting the five successful keys of Taco Bell to develop the local Egyptian QSRs. There are many Taco Bell lessons can teach to the local Egyptian QSR through five successful keys which are: 1) Passions and power, 2) Recognizing champions; 3) Putting the service-profit chain to work, 4) Reengineering the tacos; 5) Rumors-quelling strategy. This research adopts qualitative research, which uses semi-structured interviews and printed documents (Yin, 2009). The researchers conducted thirty-one semi-structured interviews. Additionally, this study will introduce a theoretical model of five successful keys for QSRs. Taco Bell is one of the most famous chains in the US, serves more than 2 billion customers each year at 7,000 restaurants, more than 80% owned and operated by independent franchisees or licensees, which represents about eight percent of the total U.S. restaurant industry. Taco Bell is a quick service restaurant chain began in Irvine, California, providing mainly Mexican-style meals like tacos, etc. Professional leaders and satisfied employees in a comfortable working environment can decrease costs, satisfy customers and increase property profits.
