المستخلص: This research aims to attempt to measure the performance of 273 Algerian public hospitals during the period from 2011 to 2015 using the marginal approaches of SFA and Data Envelope Analysis (DEA).
The study variables consisted of capital and work as inputs and the number of examinations, days of hospitalization, the average duration of stay, occupancy rate, and percentage of family occupancy as outputs. The results showed that there was a discrepancy in the efficiency degrees between the various hospitals, with a rate of 68.70% according to the analysis of random limits and 78.62% according to the analysis of the data envelope.

يهدف هذا البحث إلى محاولة قياس الأداء لــــــــ 273 مؤسسة إستشفائية عمومية جزائرية خلال الفترة الممتدة من 2011 إلى 2015 باستخدام المقاربات الحدية المتمثلة في أسلوب تحليل الحدود العشوائية (SFA) وأسلوب تحليل مغلف البيانات (DEA).
تمثلت متغيرات الدراسة في رأس المال والعمل كمدخلات؛ وعدد الفحوصات، أيام الإستشفاء، متوسط مدة الإقامة، معدل الإنشغال، نسبة إنشغال الأسرة كمخرجات. وقد بينت النتائج أن هناك تباين في درجات الكفاءة بين مختلف المؤسسات الإستشفائية وذلك بمعدل 68.70% وفق تحليل الحدود العشوائية و78.62% وفق تحليل مغلف البيانات.

L’objectif de cette étude est tenter de mesurer la performance concernant 273 Établissements hospitaliers algériens publics au cours de la période 2011- 2015, en utilisant l’approche frontière de méthode frontière stochastique (SFA), et l'analyse d’enveloppement des données (DEA). Le capital et le travail sont utilisés comme variables inputs; le nombre de consultations, les jours d'hospitalisation, la durée moyenne de séjour, le taux d’occupations et le taux de rotations sont utilisés comme variables outputs. Les résultats ont montré qu'il existe des variations dans le degré d'efficience entre les différents hôpitaux avec un taux de 68,70% selon l'analyse paramétrique et 78,62% selon l'analyse non-paramétrique.
