المستخلص: Ce travail étude la relation entre le capital humain et la croissance économique à long terme en Algérie (1970-2009). En se basant sur les techniques des séries temporelles (cointérgation, modèle de correction d’erreur, causalité), on a conclut qu’il existe une relation de cointégration entre le produit intérieur brut et le nombre des diplômés supérieurs (les deux séries sont cointégrées), ce que garantit l’existence d’une relation à long terme entre le capital humain et la croissance économique. L’estimation de cette relation nous a permis d’accepter le modèle ECM qui exprime la relation à court terme entre les deux sériés. L’étude de la causalité nous a permis aussi de détecter une causalité de sens unique du « nombre des diplômés supérieurs » vers le « produit intérieur brut », ce que signifie que la variation dans le nombre des diplômés supérieurs contribue à l’explication de la variation du produit intérieur brut.

تتمحور الفكرة الرئيسية لهذا البحث حول معرفة العلاقة التي تربط بين رأس المال البشري والنمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر للفترة الممتدة من 1970 إلى 2009، وذلك بدراسة العلاقة السببية، اختبار التكامل المشترك وتقدير نموذج تصحيح الخطأ. ولقد تلخصت النتيجة في وجود تكامل مشترك بين سلسلة "الناتج المحلي الخام" وسلسلة "عدد حاملي الشهادات العليا"، والذي يضمن وجود علاقة على المدى الطويل بين مؤشر النمو الاقتصادي ومؤشر رأس المال البشري. تقدير هذه العلاقة سمح لنا بقبول نموذج تصحيح الخطأ والذي يعبر عن العلاقة في المدى القصير بين المؤشرين. كما تبين وجود علاقة سببية أحادية الاتجاه وذلك من"عدد حاملي الشهادات العليا" نحو "الناتج المحلي الخام"، وهذا يعني أن التغير في "عدد حاملي الشهادات العليا" يساهم في تفسير التغير في "الناتج المحلي الخام".

The main idea of this research is to find out the relationship between human capital and economic growth in Algeria for the period 1970 to 2009, by studying causality, testing joint integration and evaluating the error correction model. The result was a joint integration between the “crude domestic product” and the “number of high degree holders” series, which ensures a long-term relationship between the economic growth index and the human capital index. Estimating this relationship allowed us to accept the error correction model, which reflects the short-term relationship between the two indicators. A unidirectional causal relationship from the “number of holders of higher degrees” to “crude domestic product,” meaning that the change in the “number of holders of higher degrees” contributes to the explanation of the change in “crude domestic product”.
