المستخلص: لم يختلف المصممون والمعمارييون العرب في العصر الحديث حول قضية، قدر اختلافهم حول أهمية التراث والدور الذي يمكن أن يلعبه في حياة الشعوب وأثيرت تساؤلات عديدة حول ماهية التراث واختلفت وجهات النظر وتعددت الآراء نتيجة لاختلاف الظروف الفكرية والثقافية. وفى ظل حضور المتغيرات التي يمتلكها المصمم الداخلي والمتمثلة في قدراته الفكرية وتجاربه المتعددة في مجال الإختصاص، فضلا عما يحمله من معايير قيمية ترتبط غالبا بفكرة عقائدية ذات موروث حضاري، فهي تؤدي بالنتيجة انعكاسات تتسم بطابع الذاتية على مستوى الفعل التصميمي. ومن جانب آخر فإن المبدأ الوظيفي وإيجاد أشكال ملائمة للوظيفة في التصميم الداخلي من خلال تشكيلات بصرية تحكمها قيم فنية، هي الغاية التي يتبناها المصمم والتي ترتبط بالمحتوى الثقافي والاجتماعي، بوصف الشكل في العمل التصميمي استجابة لعوامل معقدة ومتعددة وعقلانية، تشترط على المصمم أن لا يفرض الشكل على التصميم، بل يستنتجه بصورة موضوعية من خلال الواقع الحياتي والبيئي المحيط به. ومن هذا الإيجاز تبرز أهمية العلاقة بين ما يمكن أن يتم تصميمه من قبل المصمم ضمن المعيار الذاتي على الفراغ الداخلي المراد تصميمه، وما تفرضه الموضوعية في احتواء عناصر التراث الإسلامي وصياغته بما يتوافق مع أسس التصميم الداخلي ومعطياته الوظيفية. تتمثل المشكلة الأساسية محل التناول البحثي في تتبع مظاهر التبعية الفكرية التي شكلت الفكر التصميمي المعاصر في مصر، والتي تنعكس في أن معظم النتاج البنائي المعاصر يتبع الاتجاهات الفكرية الغربية. ويهدف البحث من خلال تحليل بعض الاتجاهات الحديثة في التصميم من خلال التفاعل مع مصادر التراث الإسلامي، وتحديد موقفها بين التبعية والإبداع. وقد حفلت عمارة العصور الإسلامية بالعديد من المفردات التراثية التي تعتبر إبداعا ويعبر عن المضمون. ومن هنا جاء اختيار التراث المعماري الإسلامي تتبع بعض المحاولات المعاصرة للتفاعل معه مع توظيف أهم العناصر الإسلامية والاستفادة منها بصورة مجردة في التصميم الداخلي والأثاث، وهو ما يتناوله هذا البحث.

Arab designers and architects in the modern era did not differ on an issue, as much as they differed about the importance of heritage and the role it can play in the lives of peoples. Many questions have been raised about the nature of heritage, and views differed and opinions varied as a result of different intellectual and cultural conditions. In light of the presence of the variables possessed by the interior designer, which are represented in his intellectual capabilities and his multiple experiences in the field of specialization, as well as the value standards he carries, often linked to a doctrinal idea with a civilized heritage; as a result, it leads to repercussions characterized by a subjective nature at the level of the designing act. On the other hand, the functional principle and finding appropriate forms for the function in interior design through visual formations governed by artistic values is the goal adopted by the designer and which is related to the cultural and social content, describing the shape in the design work in response to complex, multiple and rational factors, which require the designer not to impose the form on the design but deduces it objectively from the life and environmental reality surrounding it. This briefing highlights the importance of the relationship between what can be designed by the designer within the subjective criterion on the interior space to be designed and what objectivity imposes in containing the elements of Islamic heritage and formulating it in accordance with the foundations of interior design and its functional data.
The main problem of the research is tracing the manifestations of intellectual dependence that formed contemporary design concept in Egypt, which is reflected in the fact that most contemporary structural products follow Western intellectual trends. The research aims to analyze modern design trends through interaction with Islamic heritage sources and determine their position between dependence and creativity. The architecture of the Islamic eras is full of many traditional vocabularies that are considered creativity and express the content. Hence the choice of the Islamic architectural heritage, following some contemporary attempts to interact with it, with the employment of the great Islamic elements and abstractly benefiting from them in interior design and furniture, which is what this research deals with.
