|a ينبغي للملابس التي تناسب الطفل أن تتوفر فيها متطلبات خاصة تقتضيها ظروف الأداء الحركي الذي يقوم به الطفل، إلى جانب الذوق السليم والبساطة في التصميم وتناسق وانسجام كل من تصميم الملبس وتصميم المنسوج، ولابد أن تساير ملابس الأطفال الاتجاهات العالمية الحديثة (الموضة) فافتقاد عنصر الحداثة في ملبس الطفل يؤدي إلى شعوره بالنقص، ولكن يجب عدم الانجراف وراء التيارات الغربية في خطوط الموضة التي لا تتناسب مع بيئتنا الشرقية وتقاليد مجتمعنا. \nوتؤثر الموضة منذ القدم فيما نرتديه فهي بمثابة للطعام الذي نأكله وطريقة وأسلوب معيشتنا، وتعرف الموضة على أنها الأسلوب الشائع في وقت معين وتعني الأناقة أو السعادة أو حتى القبح، فهي أسلوب للتعبير في كل الفنون، وتظهر بوضوح في الملابس في عناصر التصميم وأساسياته مثل (الاتزان – الخط – اللون). \nأما تصميم الأزياء فيعرف على أنه "توظيف للعناصر المستخدمة في عملية التصميم لتحقيق غايات جمالية ونفعية"، فالأزياء تتغير بسرعة ولذا يجب تجنب التصميمات الرتيبة والغير مطلوبة، والمصمم الماهر يحاول أن يتوقع الاتجاهات الحديثة، ويتميز بتصميماته عن الاتجاهات السائدة. \nويجب على مصمم ملابس الأطفال الإدراك الكامل لمتطلبات واحتياجات الطفل من الملبس في المراحل العمرية المختلفة، كذلك معرفة تامة بالطريقة التي يتغير بها شكل جسم الطفل تبعاً للنمو في كل مرحلة عمرية، وفترات النمو السريع وكذلك فترات النمو البطيء للطفل، وتقدم ملابس الأطفال للمصمم فرصة إبداعية للتجريب مع الألوان والزخارف وتفاصيل التصميم للوصول إلى منتج ملبسي جديد وأنيق ومناسب للطفل. \nكما يهدف منتجي الأقمشة إلى إمداد ملابس الأطفال بالتركيبات النسجية والتجهيزات الخاصة مثل التجهيز (المقاوم للاشتعال – مضاد للاتساخ والطارد للاتساخ – مضاد للكرمشة والتجعد – مضاد الانكماش – مقاوم للكلور)، وكذلك تنعيم الأقمشة الثقيلة مثل "الجينز" واستخدام الأقمشة غير المنسوجة في بعض الإضافات للتصميمات الحديثة. \nويعد استخدام الخامات والمواد العضوية من أهم الاتجاهات الحديثة في تصنيع الملابس بصفة عامة وملابس الأطفال بصفة خاصة ليكون آمنا على البيئة وعلى صحة وبشرة الأطفال، ومن هنا جاءت أهمية استخدام القطن العضوي والصبغات العضوية في صناعة ملابس الأطفال. \n

|f The clothes that are suitable for the child should meet special requirements needed by the conditions of the motor performance of the child, in addition to the good taste and simplicity in the design and the consistency and harmony of both the clothing design and the textile design. Children's clothing must keep pace with modern global trends (fashion). The lack of modernity in a child's clothing leads to a feeling of inferiority. However, we should not drift behind western trends in fashion lines that do not fit our eastern environment and the traditions of our society. \n Since ancient times, fashion has affected what we wear, as it is like the food we eat and the way we live. Fashion is defined as the common style at a certain time and means elegance, happiness, or even ugliness. It is a method of expression in all arts, and it appears clearly in the clothes in the design elements and basics such as (balance - line - color). \nAs for fashion design, it is defined as "the employment of the elements used in the design process to achieve aesthetic and utilitarian ends." Fashion changes rapidly, and therefore monotonous and unwanted designs must be avoided, and the skilled designer should try to anticipate modern trends and be distinguished by his designs from the prevailing trends. \nThe designer of children's clothing must be fully aware of the requirements and needs of the child's clothing in the different age stages, as well as full knowledge of the way in which the shape of the child's body changes according to growth at each age stage, and periods of rapid growth as well as periods of the slow growth of the child, and children's clothing provides the designer with a creative opportunity for experimentation with colors, embellishments and design details to come up with a new, stylish and child-friendly clothing item. \nFabric producers also aim to supply children's clothing with textile compositions and special equipment such as processing (flame-resistant – anti-dirt and dirt-repellent – anti-wrinkle – anti-shrink – chlorine-resistant), as well as to soften heavy fabrics such as "jeans" and the use of non-woven fabrics in some additions for modern designs. \nThe use of raw materials and organic materials is one of the most important recent trends in the manufacture of clothes in general and children's clothes in particular, to be safe for the environment and for the health and skin of children, hence the importance of using organic cotton and organic dyes in the manufacture of children's clothes. \nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2021
