المستخلص: Design for Social Justice is a growing movement and emerging field that works locally and inclusively with and for communities, stakeholders, and audiences from the ground up; advocates for those who are marginalized; and, uses the challenges inherent in daily life to activate change and motivate impact, social justice is not a form of charity but It is a belief that all human beings have fundamental rights to be treated with dignity and to have a sense of identity in their daily lives, In addition, it is the right of all people to be treated equitably in terms of resources and circumstances so that they can enjoy a basic standard of living that provides security, shelter and comfort, Method: employs an analytical descriptive method based on gathering information to build the theoretical framework as he perceives basic knowledge for the relationship between people and the built environment. Objective: to discuss the role of interior designer in achieving social justice in residential domestic communities ensuring that the basic rights of the population are easily and equitably accessible in the sense of equality of access, as well as more community participation, where residents meetings allow discussion of proposed designs, making it possible to meet the expected meanwhile and futuristic needs and desires of residents and neighbors, which the author assuming that ensuring the basic rights for residents easily and honorably in terms of equality and justice in interior design by meeting the needs and satisfying desires of the future inhabitants of the building and their neighbors will affect their quality of life and achieving the social sustainability to the domestic residential community. Conclusion: Achieving social justice in interior design for residential communities among residents, leads to improving the social relation and reflecting a better life regardless of the increasing income of individuals. Provide social sustainability measurable indicators, to help solving the problem of designing new socially sustainable residentail communities. Socially responsible design achieves better quality of life that maintains human dignity to meet residential needs. Design of a successful social residential communities increases the sense of security that provides an opportunity for interaction and a sense of community identity as it plays an important role in maintaining the lifestyle, and determines the nature of communication between its’ residents.

التصميم من أجل العدالة الاجتماعية هي حركة متنامية ومجال ناشئ يعمل محلياً وبشمولية مع ومن أجل المجتمعات السكنية وذوي المنفعة المباشرة والسكان (المستخدمين) من الأقل انتفاعاً للأعلى، ويدافع عن المهمشين، ويستخدم التحديات الكامنة في الحياة اليومية لتفعيل التغيير وتحفيز التأثير، أن العدالة الاجتماعية ليست من الأعمال الخيرية بل هي اعتقاد بأن جميع البشر لهم حقوق أساسية وهي أن يعاملوا بكرامة وأن يكون لديهم إحساس بالهوية في حياتهم اليومية. بالإضافة إلى أنه من حق جميع الناس أن يعاملوا بشكل منصف فيما يتعلق بالموارد والظروف، بحيث يمكنهم، كحد أدنى أن يتمتعوا بمستوى معيشي أساسي يوفر الأمن والمأوى والراحة، ومن هنا يأتي الهدف من هذا البحث هو مناقشة دور المصمم الداخلي في تحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية بالمجتمعات السكنية المحلية وضمان تمكين حقوق السكان الأساسية بسهولة وكرامة من حيث المساواة في الوصول بالإضافة إلى مشاركة أكبر للمجتمع في كثير من الأحيان حيث تسمح اجتماعات ساكني المجتمع السكني مناقشة التصميمات المقترحة مما يجعل من الممكن تلبية احتياجات ورغبات سكان المبنى وجيرانهم في المستقبل. وفي سبيل ذلك يتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي القائم على جمع المعلومات لبناء الإطار النظري.
