المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى الخصائص الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والديمغرافية للشابات المنتسبات إلى الأحزاب السياسية الأردنية، وتحديد دوافع مشاركتهن في الأحزاب، وبحت التحديات الخارجية والداخلية التي يواجهنها، وتعرف أنواع الأنشطة الحزبية التي يمارسنها. لتحقيق ذلك استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باستخدام أسلوب البحث الكمي، حيث اعتمدت في جمع المعلومات على تطوير استبانة طبقت على عينة غرضية بلغ عددها (145) من الشابات المنتسبات إلى مختلف التيارات الحزبية. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الأيمان بالعمل الحزبي من أهم دوافع انتساب الشابات إلى الأحزاب. أجمعت الشابات من مختلف التيارات الحزبية على أن أهم التحديات الخارجية التي يواجهنها هو ضعف الوعي السياسي بموضوع الأحزاب فيما كانت أبرز التحديات الداخلية هو وجود عدد قليل من النساء داخل الأحزاب. وجود تفاوت في الفرص المتاحة أمام الشابات في تطوير مشاركتهن السياسية اعتمادا على التيار السياسي المنتسبات إليه.

The study aimed at identifying the social, economic and demographic characteristics of young women associated with the Jordanian political parties, determining the motives behind their participation in political parties, , defining the internal and external challenges they faced, describing the main activities they executed, and illuminating the main opportunities they had to promote their participation The study employed the analytical descriptive methodology with quantitative methods, where a quantitative questionnaire was used to collect the data from (145) young women. The most important results can be summarized as following: The most important motive that encouraged the young women to become associated with Jordanian political parties was their belief in the party system. Young women from all the parties’ factions agreed that the most important external challenge they face was the lack of political awareness regarding political parties in society, and the most important internal challenge they face was the low number of women within the parties. Young women were active in all political parties but the young women from the leftist political parties showed the utmost activism. There were differences in the opportunities available for young women to develop their political participation within their political parties depending on the factions they were associated with
