| 520 | |b The objective of this paper is to review the various environmental policies initiated by the public authorities, aiming the improvement of the health status of the population, by confronting them with the teachings of the literature on environmental health. On the one hand, and on the other, by analyzing some elements considered as contributing factors to the improvement of health, as defined in the NSE-SD. The analysis shows that, despite public awareness and efforts made, the quality of the environment has not improved and environmental damage persists. Efforts are expected to be intensified and coordinated at the central and local levels, in order to catch up for the delay of Algeria in this area and improve the living environment of the population. | ||
| 520 | |d L’objectif de ce papier est de passer en revue les différentes politiques environnementales engages par l’autorité publique, visant l’amélioration de l’état de santé de la population, en les confrontant à la littérature consacrée à la santé environnementale d’un côté, et de l’autre, en analysant quelques éléments considérés comme facteurs contribuant à l’amélioration de la santé, définis dans la SNEDD. Il ressort de l’analyse que, malgré les efforts consentis par les pouvoirs publics, la qualité de l’environnement ne s’est pas améliorée et les dommages environnementaux persistent. Les efforts sont appelés à être intensifiés et coordonnés à l’échelle centrale et locale, afin de rattraper le retard accusé par l’Algérie dans ce domaine et améliorer le cadre de vie de la population. | ||
