تهدف هذه الدارسة إلى معرفة العلاقة بين استخدام تقنية المعلومات والتحصيل في اللغة الإنجليزية في الصف الأول ثانوي ثم اختيار 160 طالبا-ولاية الخرطوم محلية امدرمان مدرستي موسى الضو الثانوية النموذجية بنين ومدرسة وادي سيدنا الثانوية. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والتجريبي. تم تصنف الطلاب إلى مجموعتين وضابطة وتجريبية واختبار قبلي وبعدى. أشارت النتيجة إلى زيادة التحصيل في المجموعة التجريبية في عملية تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية. توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة وصفية في أداء المجموعتين حيث ارتفعت نسبة التحصيل في المجموعة التجريبية مقابل المجموعة الضابطة. بناء على النتائج وضع الباحث توصياته: إن استخدام التقنية يساعد الطلاب في التبصر والتفاعل والنتائج كما يزيد دافعية الطلاب في التعلم.
This study is intended to recognize the relationship between the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) use in teaching and learning language towards the achievements of secondary school students in English language, Number of 160 students was selected from the first year students at secondary school in Khartoum State, Omdurman Municipality, and Musa alDaw Model secondary School. Descriptive Method has been used in this study. Students were classified into two groups namely the experimental Group (teaching using ICT) and the Control Group (teaching without using ICT). The t-test showed higher value for the experiment Group as compared to the Control Group. The result indicated that ICT use in teaching and learning increased the students’ achievement in English language in the secondary school. This study also attempted to determine the differences of achievement between the student taught in (ICT) and those taught (without ICT) However. The findings showed positive relationship between ICT uses in English language lessons and the students’ achievements. The usage of ICT during lessons conducted in classes has improved the learning outcomes of students and therefore the contribution should be recognized by all teachers in order to develop students’ achievement in academic. Based on the findings, several recommendations have been made to provide some insights into the use of ICT in English language teaching learning process.
