المستخلص: A global business competition shifts from efficiency to innovation and from enlargement of scale to creation value. Towards the strategic use of human resources management needs to be oriented, the ability of companies to effectively carry out competency based on HR Management. Tourism as a service business, employees are integral to delivering on ever-increasing customer expectations - and employers in the sector exhort the value of a skilled workforce. Despite this, the research view that there is a lack of awareness and comprehension on the part of the Egyptian education and training systems of the need to respond to the anticipated demand for jobs, now and in the future. Therefore, there is a gap in skills within the current labor force to meet current and future labor needs of the Egyptian tourism labor force. Consequently, Egypt should close its skills gap and upgrade the skills in its tourism domestic workforce. So, this research aims to analyze the Egyptian tourism labor market skills gap in tourism and hospitality sectors to map the skills needs for improving accessibility across the mentioned sectors; and this skills mapping could be worked upon treat a mismatch between the skills required and those available. As well as, the research objectives are: outline the Egyptian tourism workforce issues; identify and address skill gaps in tourism careers and determine the relationship between the tourism education level and skill standards in Egyptian tourism labor market; and measure the skills qualifications in the Egyptian tourism labor market, according to the different tourism and hospitality sectors. The research also highlight key findings that will contribute to the outcomes of the future strategy for policy makers, stakeholders and tourism enterprises to succeed in dealing with skills challenges. The research adopt more granular approach that would address the skills gap as the difference in the skills needed for a job and those possessed by a prospective worker. Thus, the calculation of skills gap can be done using approach that merge between two approaches (workforce/employer surveys), (labor supply/demand indicators) which issuing a mix of primary survey research. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire survey conducted in ways tourist cities in Egypt including Sharm El. Sheikh, Cairo, Luxor and Alex, four and five star related hotels were chosen as those properties most likely to be operating in the international market and travel agents category (A).
