|a تناول البحث فاعلية الشك في دفع أبطال مآسي شكسبير نحو مصيرهم ورسم نهاياتهم المأساوية، واتخذ مسرحية عطيل أنموذجا، لذا صاغ مشكلته في هذا السؤال: ما فاعلية الشك في رسم نهايات الأبطال المأساوية في نص مسرحية (عطيل) لمؤلفه (وليم شكسبير)؟ ويقع البحث في أربعة فصول، يتناول أولها وهو فصل منهجية البحث، كلا من: مشكلة البحث وأهميته وأهدافه وحدوده ومصطلحاته، فحددها جميعا. أما الفصل الثاني وهو فصل الإطار النظري فيناقش في ثلاثة مباحث، وعلى التوالي العناوين الآتية: الشك مثيراً للمأساة في المسرح الإغريقي، الشك منطلقا لعصر النهضة الأوروبي، أثر الشك على الفرد اجتماعيا ونفسيا: أ- مفهوم الشك في علم الاجتماع، ب- أنواع الشك في علم النفس. هذا فضلا عن فقرة الدراسات السابقة والتي تناول فيها دراسة هي الوحيدة التي تلامس موضوع البحث، وبين فيها الباحث وجوه الاختلاف بين الاثنين. كما تضمن الفصل مؤشرات الإطار النظري التي لخصها في نقاط لكي يستند إليها في تحليل عينة البحث في الفصل الثالث وهو فصل إجراءات البحث والذي يستهله بتبيان مجتمع البحث وعينته وطريقته (وهي طريقة المنهج التحليلي الوصفي)، وكذلك أداته قبل تحليل العينة. الفصل الرابع مخصص لنتائج البحث ومناقشتها في نقاط ومن ثم استخلاص استنتاجات البحث منها والتي كانت كفيلة بالإجابة على سؤال مشكلة البحث.

|b The research dealt with the effectiveness of doubt in pushing the heroes of Shakespeare tragedies towards their fate and draws their tragic endings, and took a play Othello is a model, so he formulated his problem in this question. What is the effectiveness of skepticism in drawing the end of the tragic heroes in the text of the play Othello by the author William Shakespeare? This research is divided into four chapters, the first of which deals with the research methodology: the problem of research, its importance, objectives, limits and terminology. The second chapter is the theoretical framework, then discussed in three sections, respectively, the following headings: suspicion provokes tragedy in the Greek theater, suspicion as the basis for the European Renaissance, the impact of doubt on the individual socially and psychologically: a. the concept of doubt in sociology, b. self. This is in addition to the paragraph of previous studies, which dealt with a study is the only one that touches on the subject of research, and the researcher showed the differences between the two. The chapter also included the theoretical framework indicators, which are summarized in points to be based on the analysis of the research sample in Chapter three, the chapter of research procedures, which begins with the identification of the research community and sample. The research method used (a descriptive analytical method), as well as its tool before sample analysis. Chapter four is devoted to the results of the research and discussed in points and then draw conclusions from the research, which was sufficient to answer the question of the research problem
