Information systems (IS) have become a field of research in different disciplines. Nevertheless, the general theme of evaluation dominates research in this area. The two currents that have marked this paradigm are the variance approach and the procedural approach. The first focuses on the issues of IS contributions to organizational performance. The procedural approach aims to understand how IS contribute to performance. In this paper we will try to present the two dominant currents of the paradigm as well as the models for evaluating IS with the contributions and limitations of each. Les systèmes d’information (SI) se sont constitués en champ de recherche dans différentes disciplines. Néanmoins le thème général de l’évaluation domine la recherche dans ce domaine. Les deux courants qui ont marqué se paradigme sont l’approche de la variance et l’approche processuelle. La première est centrée sur les questions des apports des SI à la performance organisationnelle. L’approche processuelle ambitionne quant-elle de comprendre comment les SI contribuent à la performance. Nous essayerons dans ce papier de présenter les deux courants dominants du paradigme ainsi que les modèles d’évaluation des SI avec les apports et les limites de chacun. |
