المستخلص: تركز هذه الدراسة على موضوع "الاقتباسات العلمية" المستقاة من المصادر المقروءة كمادة للبحث، والتي يعد تجميعها خطوة هامة على طريق البحث العلمي والتأليف الوثائقي، يعتمد عليها الباحث/ المؤلف في المراحل التكوينية لبحثه أو مؤلفه، ويعد تنظيمها وتداولها وتوظيفها واستيعابها واستثمارها وتضمينها في ثنايا البحث ركيزة أساسية لجودة البحث العلمي وأصالته، كما أن استثمارها وتوظيفها مستقبلا يعطي قيمة مضافة لا تقدر بثمن.
طبقت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وأسلوب الاستبانة على عينة قوامها (372) مفردة يمثلون (14.18 %) من إجمالي مجتمع الدراسة من منسوبي كليات ومعاهد جامعة القاهرة (11 كلية ومعهداً) و(38 تخصصاً أكاديمياً) ينتمون إلى دائرة الإنسانيات والعلوم الاجتماعية من الحاصلين على درجتي الماجستير والدكتوراه من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، للاقتراب أكثر من "الاقتباسات" وإدراك ماهيتها وأهميتها لدى الباحثين، والصعوبات التي تواجههم عند تجميعها ومن بعد ذلك تداولها واستثمارها وتوظيفها، والطرق العلمية والعملية لتدوينها، والنصائح والإرشادات المتعلقة بها، مع محاولة إدراك شعور الباحث العربي بأهميتها وأهمية مرحلة تجميع المادة العلمية وتدوينها، وتقدير مدى حاجته لنظام معلومات لحفظها وإدارتها في الحاضر والمستقبل.


This study focuses on the subject of "scientific citation" obtained from sources read as research material, the compilation of which is an important step in the path of scientific research and documentary authoring. The researcher/author depends on it in the formative stages of his research or book. Its organization, deliberation, employment, absorption, investing, and inclusion in the research folds is a fundamental pillar of the quality and originality of scientific research. Its investment and employment in the future also give invaluable added value.
The study applied the descriptive-analytical method and employed the method of the questionnaire on a sample consisting of (372) individuals representing (14.18%) of the total study community comprising of employees of faculties and institutes of Cairo University (11 faculties and institutes) and (38 academic specializations) belonging to the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and including faculty members with Masters and Ph.D. degrees due to their familiarity with the "citations" and making the researchers realize what they are and their importance, and the difficulties they face when compiling, deliberating, investing, and using scientific and practical methods of notation, and advice and guidance related to them. The study also seeks to make the Arab researcher realize its importance and the importance of the stage of compiling and noting scientific material and assessing the need for an information system to preserve and manage it in the present and future.
