المستخلص: يهدف البحث الراهن إلى الكشف عن الإدراكات المتباينة للآباء والأمهات فيما يتعلق بتسامحهما مع أبنائهما. كما يهدف الكشف عن الإدراكات المتباينة لأبنائهما فيما يتعلق بتسامح آبائهما وأمهاتهما معهما. وأجريت الدراسة على عينتين: عينة الوالدين وتكونت من (٥٢٤) أبا وأما، بواقع (٢٤١) أبا، و(٢٨٣) أما. وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (٤٠-٦٠ سنة. وعينة الأبناء وتكونت من (٥٢٤) ابنا وبنا لهؤلاء الآباء والأمهات، بواقع (٢٩٣) ابنا، و(٣٣١) بنتا. وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (١٥ -٢٥) سنة. وصممت الباحثة مقياسا لقياس التسامح الوالدي، وتم التحقق من كفاءته السيكومترية. وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن اتفاق الآباء والأمهات فيما يتعلق بالاستراتيجيات التي يستخدمونها، والأساليب التي يتبنونها في التعبير عن التسامح، باستثناء أسلوب التسامح من خلال المناقشة، حيث فضلت الأمهات وبدرجة دالة هذا الأسلوب عن الآباء، ولم تبرز فروق دالة بينهما في شدة التسامح المدرك. كما برزت فروق دالة بين البنين والبنات في إدراكهما لاستراتيجيات التسامح الوالدي وأساليبه وشدته. حيث أقر البنين استخدام أبويهم للاستراتيجيات بمعدل أعلى، وتبنيهم لأساليب متعددة في التعبير عن تسامحهم معهم، كما أدركوا آبائهم وأمهاتهم على أنهم أكثر تسامحا عن البنات. ونوقشت النتائج في ضوء النظريات والدراسات السابقة، وأبرزت دلالتها النفسية.

The current research aims to explore the discrepancy perceptions of parents of their parental forgiveness with their children. It aims also to explore the discrepancy perceptions of their children of parents forgiveness with them. The research carried on two samples; samples of parents consisted of (524) parents, (241) fathers and (283) mothers, their age ranged from 40: 60 years. The sample of their children consisted of (524) children, (293) sons and (231) daughters. Their age ranged from 15: 25 years.lt was designed a questionnaire to measure the parental forgiveness and we verified of their psychometric effectiveness. The research revealed that there were an agreement between parents with regard to the strategies which they used and styles that they adopted to forgive, except that forgiveness through discussion Style, where mothers significally preferred that style more than fathers and there were no significant differences between them in intensity of perceived forgiveness. There were also significant differences between sons and daughters in their perceptions of parental forgiveness strategies, styles, and intensity, where sons endorsed that their parents used strategies at a higher rate, and they adopted to multiple styles to express their forgiveness with them. They also perceived their parents as being more forgiving than daughters. The results were discussed in the light of past theories and researches and were highlighted its psychological significant.
