المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة أهم مصادر الضغوط المهنية التي تواجه معلم التربية الخاصة، ومعرفة الفروق بين تلك الضغوط عند المعلمين بحسب كل من: الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، الخبرة، نوع الإعاقة، وقد بلغ عدد عينة الدراسة (٤٠٤) من معلمي ومعلمات مدارس التربية الخاصة بدولة الكويت، بواقع ٢٠٣ من المعلمين و ٢٠١ من المعلمات، واستخدم الباحثان مقياسا من إعدادهما لقياس الضغوط المهنية عند معلمي التربية الخاصة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن أهم مصادر الضغوط المهنية التي تواجه معلمي التربية الخاصة هي: عدم وجود مناهج مناسبة، التباين بـين مستويات الطلاب المعاقين، زيادة عدد الطلاب بالفصول، التوقعات العالية من ولي الأمر، نصاب عدد الحصص للمعلمين، ضعف الراتب الشهري، ضعف التقدير من قبل المسئولين، ضعف الدافعية لدى الطلاب. وبالنسبة للفروق بين المتغيرات الديموغرافية فلم تتوصل نتائج الدراسة لفروق بين عينة الدارسة ترجع للجنس أو للمؤهل العلمي أو للخبرة، ولكن كانت هناك فروق دال إحصائيا بـين معلمي مدرسة التأهيل ومعلمي الإعاقة الحركية لصالح معلمي الإعاقة الحركية، كما كانت هناك فروق دالة بين معلمي مدرسة التأهيل وكل من: معلمي الإعاقة الذهنية ومعلمي التوحد ومعلمي الإعاقة السمعية لصالح معلمي مدرسة التأهيل، وظهرت فروق دالة إحصائيا بين معلمي رياض الأطفال وكل من: معلمي الإعاقة الحركية ومعلمي الإعاقة البصرية ومعلمي إعاقة التوحد لصالح معلمي رياض الأطفال، كما ظهرت فروق دالة إحصائيا بين معلمي التوحد ومعلمي الإعاقة الحركية لصالح معلمي التوحد.

The purpose of this research was to determine job stress that compete with special education teachers. More specifically, this study investigated job stress that challenge special education teachers in State of Kuwait. The study investigate four teacher factors, including gender, degree, years of teaching or professional service, and type of disability that special education teachers deled with. The participants in this study consisted of (n = 404) special education teachers (m. 203), and (f. 201). A researcher constructed survey to measure job stress was applied to the sample. Results revealed that the most crucial stress that special education teachers would confront were (l. the lack of appropriate special education curriculum, (2. the varying between special need students academic level, (3. increasing number of students in one class, (4. the high esteem that parents would guess from school to there kids and never achieved, (5. number of classes for each special education teachers, (6. insufficient salary, (7. unsatisfactory rating from chairman to special education teachers, (8. and the low motivation for. students with special need. For demographic variables, no significant differences were found in gender, degree, years of teaching or professional service. For type of disability that special education teachers deled with, a significant differences were found. The results of the study were as the following: (1. significant differences between teachers dealing with rehabilitation schools and teachers dealing with movement disabilities. In specific teachers dealing with movement disabilities were statistically ranked higher than teachers dealing with rehabilitation schools. Furthermore a significant difference were found between teachers dealing with rehabilitation schools and the teachers of mental retardation autism and hearing disabilities, and the teachers dealing with rehabilitation schools statistically ranked higher. (2. Significant differences were also found between elementary school teachers and the teachers of movement disabilities, visual disabilities, and autism in which elementary school teachers were statistically ranked higher. (3. finally, significant differences were found between the teachers dealing with autism and teachers dealing with movement disabilities in witch autism teachers were statistically ranked higher than movement disability teachers.
