|f The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is the official international body responsible for the protection of refugees, primarily with the task of securing their admission into the country of asylum and ensuring respect for their fundamental rights. |d Le Haut commissariat des nations unies pour les réfugiés est considéré comme l’ organisation internationale officielle chargée de la protection des réfugiés et ce par leur prise en charge pour les insérer dans le pays d’accueil par le respect de leur droits fondamentaux, son rôle n’est pas uniquement une prise en charge provisoire mais reste à la recherche d’une solution adéquate et définitive du problème afin de les aider à retourner dans leur pays d’origine ou de s’installer définitivement dans un pays autre que le leur (le pays d’accueil ou un autre pays).\nEn dépit de ce rôle important joué par le (H.C.N.U), son action reste cependant assez limitée car il n’arrive pas à résoudre l’ensemble des problèmes et des difficultés rencontrés par ces gens et surtout en raison de la situation actuelle vécue sur le plan internationale, nécessitant ainsi le recoud à d’autres stratégies efficaces.\n

|a تعتبر المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين الجهاز الرسمي الدولي المكلف بحماية اللاجئين، وذلك عن طريق التكفل أساساً بمهمة تأمين قبولهم في بلد اللجوء، والسهر على احترام حقوقهم الأساسية فيه، ولا يتوقف دورها عند هذا الحد الذي يعد حلاً مؤقتاً لمشكلة اللاجئ على اختيار العودة طواعية إلى وطنه، أو البقاء في بلد اللجوء والاندماج فيه بصفة نهائية، أو التوطن في بلد آخر.\nورغم الدور الهام الذي تلعبه المفوضية في حماية اللاجئين، إلا أنها تبقى قاصرة على حل جميع المشاكل المتعلقة باللاجئين لاسيما في ظل الوضع الدولي الراهن، وهو الأمر الذي يستدعي تعزيزها بآليات أخرى تكون فعالة.\n
