المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف الأسباب التي تدفع الشباب لتعاطي المخدرات من وجهة نظر أسرهم، وعلاقة ذلك بالمتغيرات (المؤهل العلمي، والمستوى الاقتصادي). تكونت عينة الدراسة من أسر متعاطي المخدرات التابعة لمحافظة البلقاء عام (2016) والبالغ عددهم (100) أسرة. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطبيق استبانة مكونة من (24) فقرة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن تقديرات أسر الشباب لأسباب تعاطي أبنائهم للمخدرات جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وبينت النتائج وجود فروق ظاهرية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لتقدير أفراد عينة الدراسة للأسباب التي تدفع الشباب لتعاطي المخدرات تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي للوالدين والمستوى الاقتصادي. وإلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند درجة (0.05≥α) لقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة للأسباب التي تدفع الشباب لتعاطي المخدرات تبعا لمتغير المؤهل العلمي للوالدين والمستوى الاقتصادي. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة تم تقديم عدة توصيات ومن أهمها تبني شؤون المجلس الأعلى للأسر خطط علاجية ووقائية، ودعوة الأسر إلى النهوض بواجباتها في إعداد الأبناء ورعايتهم وفق أسس التربية الإسلامية الصحيحة، وتأكيد أهمية التعاون بين الأسر والمؤسسات التربوية في تنشئة الأبناء وتربيتهم التربية السلمية.

The study aimed at identifying the reasons that lead young people to drug abuse from the point of view of their families, and related to the variables (scientific qualification, economic level). The study sample consisted of families of drug users in Balqa Governorate (2016) of (100) families. To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (24) items was applied. The results of the study showed that the estimates of the families of young people due to their children's abuse of drugs were medium. The results showed that there are apparent differences between the arithmetic averages of the sample of the sample for the reasons that lead the youth to drug abuse according to the variable of the parents' educational qualification and the economic level. And the absence of statistically significant differences at (0.05≥α) of the sample of the study sample for the reasons that lead the youth to drug abuse according to the variable of the scientific qualification of the parents and the economic level. In light of the results of the study, several recommendations have been made. The most important of these recommendations are the adoption of remedial and preventive plans by the Supreme Council for Families, calling on families to fulfill their duties in preparing children and caring for them in accordance with the correct Islamic education, and emphasizing the importance of cooperation between families and educational institutions in raising children and educating them in peaceful education.
