المستخلص: La pensée de Kierkegaard se voue à penser de manière radicale le concept d’existence. Pour Kierkegaard, exister revient toujours à se situer soit dans l’esthétique, soit dans l’éthique, soit dans le religieux. A chacune de ces sphères correspond une intuition particulière du temps et une manière propre de donner sens à l’existence. A la différence de l’homme de l’éthique qui vit en harmonie avec le temps, l’homme de l’esthétique et l’homme du religieux, en revanche, cherchent à rompre avec le temps.

Kierkegaard's thought is devoted to radically thinking about the concept of existence. For Kierkegaard, to exist always comes down to being in aesthetics, ethics, or religion. To each of these spheres corresponds a particular intuition of time and a proper way of giving meaning to existence. Unlike the man of ethics who lives in harmony with time, the aesthetic man and the religious man, on the other hand, seek to break with time.
