المستخلص: This study is a pioneer to the best of the researchers’ knowledge, which tackles the concept of strategic planning and its impact on the quality of school performance in the primary education schools in the Sultanate of Oman . It aims to understand the impact of the implementation of strategic planning on the quality of school performance in primary education schools in the Sultanate of Oman. The implementation of the concept of strategic planning is one of the modern applications in the Sultanate's schools. Previous studies have dealt with the practices of strategic planning by school principals, but the interest is still weak in the direction of development of strategic planning skills . It also aims to highlight the importance of strategic planning and its role in improving and developing school performance in order to increase the conviction of decision makers at the Ministry of Education. The study adopts the analytical approach in order to achieve the main objectives and answer the questions. The results of the study indicate that the expectations of the research sample of the contribution of strategic planning in the quality of school performance comes at a relative weight of (82.9), which is a high indicator of the degree of contribution. Measuring the relationship of correlation requires the existence of two metrics first to measure the reality of the application of strategic planning, and second to measure the quality of school performance. The correlation between the two variables of the strategic planning and the quality of school performance reached (0.892), which is a very high correlation strength, while the coefficient of selection (R2) reached (81.2%) of the level of variation in the quality of school performance. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant impact of the strategic planning variable on the quality of school performance and that the correlation between them is very high.
