|d In “Pensaci, Giacomino!” di Luigi Pirandello i nomi sono specchio ed enigma della storia perché contengono il destino del personaggio secondo il modo in cui i personaggi del romanzo sono stati creati. A volte, però, l'antroponimo può essere impiegato come mezzo referenziale di tranello, quando i caratteri di un certo personaggio non corrispondono alle attese dedotte dal suo nome. La decifrazione dei segni patrimoniali e delle leggi semantico sintattiche può diventare, quindi, chiave d’accesso al mondo dell’antroponimo in “Pensaci, Giacomino!”. Elencando i nomi propri di persona ricordati nella novella, abbiamo delineato le oro tipologie, per poi determinare gli elementi principali del carico patrimoniale di ciascun nome, e la dimensione di stampo linguistico-semantico di ciascun antroponimo. Dal contributo presente, l’importanza delle scelte antroponimiche dei personaggi letterari è meramente strumentale, perché volta, a marcare la polifunzionalità della nominazione attraverso elementi linguistici già predeterminati e ben manipolati, e quindi a navigare oltre i confini del nome che si presenta in contrasto con i principi generali dell’attività denominativa che tende spesso alla generalizzazione più che alla specificità.

|b Diminutive form is considered to be one of the significant properties of the Italian language. Diminutives in Italian are so powerful, as they can achieve effective communication among individuals by creating an intimate atmosphere which strongly focuses on the friendly relations between everyone. Diminutives, as a linguistic technique, highlight the characters participating into actions instead of focusing on their characteristics that can be added to the language content in the form of adjectives, which leads to the use of longer structures. Due to this strategy, the expressive power of the different concepts appears deeper and more concise. In this research, the formation of diminutives by adding suffixes to various parts of speech is handled throughout the short story entitled "a Child under a Truck" written by the Italian writer "Ugo Betti". This short story is chosen particularly because diminutives are used frequently when speaking to/about small children. As children and everything related to them evoke deep emotions into the souls; adults not only have a sense of compassion and mercy towards them, but also feel automatically responsible and try to protect them from any harm. Descriptive analytical method is used in this research to monitor and study the morphological, syntactic and semantic features of this lingual phenomenon in the context. This methodology reflects user pragmatics competence in the way he delivers a specific message to a recipient interpreting it according to the speaker intentions. So as we can say that pragmatics, as a branch of linguistics, deals with all language levels (phonetics, morphology, syntax and semantics), how the audience finds out the purposes of the speaker, the techniques the speaker uses to enclose the content of his massage and to what extent he manages to deliver the message successfully.
