|b This paper discusses the determinants of knowledge transfer in the context of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Algeria's water public sector. We opted for the study of the management contract of the Société des Eaux et de l’Assainissement d’Alger (SEAAL). The results obtained, using a questionnaire survey, show that the success of the knowledge transfer process under this PPP is based on eight determining factors: communication, trust, the formalization of objectives, absorption capacity, transparency, organizational culture, formalization of skills and the expertise of the private operator.

|d Le présent article traite des déterminants du transfert de connaissances dans le contexte d’un Partenariat Public Privé (PPP) mis en place dans le secteur des services publics de l’eau en Algérie. Nous avons opté pour l’étude du cas du contrat de management de la Société des Eaux et de l’Assainissement d’Alger (SEAAL). Il ressort des résultats obtenus, à l’aide d’une enquête par questionnaire, que la réussite du processus de transfert de connaissances dans le cadre de ce PPP repose sur huit facteurs déterminants à savoir la communication, la confiance, la formalisation des objectifs, la capacité d’absorption, la transparence, la culture organisationnelle, la formalisation des compétences et l’expertise de l’opérateur privé.
