المستخلص: تعتبر العادات والتقاليد سلوك مشترك بين أفراد المجتمع الواحد، وهي نتاج لمجموعة من التفاعلات بين الأفراد، وهي عامه لكل أفراد المجتمع ويشترك في فعلها كل الفئات الاجتماعية، وهي السلوك المتكرر وشكل من أشكال التفكير وظاهرة اجتماعية تتعلق بأفعال الناس، ويشتق وجودها من الفطرة الاجتماعية فهي من أهم عناصر الثقافة وقواعد للسلوك وموروث ثقافي يحاول المجتمع المحافظة عليه، وإذا كانت القوانين الوضعية سلطة مكتوبة فالعادات سلطة غير مكتوبة
وهذه الدارسة حاولت توضيح صورة العادات والتقاليد في عينة منها، وهي مراسم الزواج في منطقة ترهونة بين الماضي والحاضر فقد بينت مراحل مراسم الزواج في الماضي بمنطقة ترهونة، وما هي العادات والتقاليد المتبعة في ذلك؟ وما التغيرات التي طرأت بعد اكتشاف النفط وزيادة دخل المجتمع الليبي وبعد التطور في كل مجالات الحياة؟ لا شك أن لذلك اثر على طبيعة العادات والتقاليد فمن الطبيعي أن تتأثر بتلك التغيرات وفق معطيات الزمن حيث أوضحت الدراسة نماذج من التغيرات التي حصلت على عادة مراسم الزواج وطرق التغير وكشفت عن حجم تلك التغيرات ومدى تماسك المجتمع في منطقة ترهونة ومحافظته على القيم الاجتماعية في ظل حركة التغير، واتبعت هذه الدراسة المنهج الانتثروبولوجي بشقيها القديم والجديد، والذي اعتمده على المعايشة الواقعية والملاحظة المباشرة والمقابلات، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعه من النتائج كان أهمها أن المجتمع في منطقة ترهونة تأثر بعملية التغير، وذلك نتيجة الدخل العام للمجتمع الليبي بفعل اكتشاف النفط، وكذلك تأثر العادات والتقاليد بعملية التغير ولكن بصورة تدرجيه نتيجة محافظة المجتمع في المنطقة على موروثة الثقافي من عادات وتقاليده، لهذا فإن الدراسة كشفت أن القيم والعادات والتقاليد في منطقة ترهونة مترابطة ومتماسكة وذلك بوحدة نسيجها الاجتماعي والرابطة الدينية والشرعية التي لا يمكن تجاوزها.


Customs and traditions are common behavior among members of a single society. It is the product of a set of interactions between individuals, and it is common for all members of society and involves all social groups. They are frequent behavior, a form of thinking, and a social phenomenon related to people's actions. Its existence is derived from social instinct. They are one of the most important elements of culture, rules of conduct, and cultural heritage that society tries to preserve. If the laws are written authority, customs are the authority that is not written.
This study attempted to explain the customs and traditions of marriage ceremony in the Tarhuna region by comparing the traditions of past and present as a case sample. The study explained the stages of marriage ceremonies in the past in the Tarhuna region, and what are the customs and traditions used in that regard? What changes occurred after the discovery of oil, the increase in the income of Libyan society, and the development in all spheres of life? There is no doubt that these changes have an impact on the nature of customs and traditions. Naturally, they are affected by these changes according to the events of the time. The study illustrated examples of changes in marriage ceremonies and ways of change. It revealed the magnitude of these changes and the cohesion of the community in Tarhuna region and its preservation of social values in light of the change movement. This study followed the old and new anthropological approach, which was adopted on real-life, direct observation and interviews. The study reached a number of findings, the most important of which included that the community in Tarhuna region was affected by the process of change. This was due to the general income of the Libyan society after the discovery of oil, as well as the customs and traditions affected by the process of change, but progressively as a result of the preservation of the cultural heritage of customs and traditions by the community in the region. Therefore, the study revealed that the values, customs, and traditions in the Tarhuna region are interdependent and cohesive by the unity of its social fabric and the religious and legitimate association that cannot be overtaken.
