المستخلص: تتناول الدراسة التي بين أيدينا شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في المكتبات الجامعية، وهدفت إلى تقييم ومقارنة تطبيقات المكتبات الجامعية الحكومية المصرية والعربية على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، ويتفرع من هذا الهدف الرئيسي مجموعة من الأهداف الفرعية ممثلة في التعرف على الإمكانات التي هي هذه الشبكات للمكتبات الجامعية والتي يمكن استغلالها من أجل تحقيق أهداف تلك المكتبات والتعرف على واقع استخدام المكتبات الجامعية للتطبيقات، ومن ثم وضع معايير لتقييم تلك التطبيقات ومقارنتها بتطبيقات المكتبات الجامعية العربية، والتعرف على مواطن القوة والضعف والفرص والتحديات (SWOT) لممارسة استخدامات المكتبات الجامعية لتطبيقات الشبكات، ثم وضع التصورات والمقترحات التي تساعد المكتبات الجامعية على الاستغلال الأمثل لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي لتحقيق أهدافها وخدمة المستفيدين منها، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المقارن، واستخدمت قائمة المراجعة، ونتج عن هذه الدراسة مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: يعتبر الفيس بوك التطبيق الأكثر شهرة بين أوساط المكتبات، كما يحقق التطبيق نسبة كبيرة من أهداف المكتبة الجامعية، ومن أهم نقاط القوة: توافر معظم عناصر المعيار في المكتبات مجتمع الدراسة، ومن أهم نقاط الضعف: عدم إتاحة جميع المكتبات لفهرس المكتبة، وعدم وجود المنشورات المثبتة، ومن أهم الفرص: وجود عروض ترويجية أفضل لتطبيقات المكتبات وإقبال المستفيدين عليها، ومن أهم التهديدات التي تواجه التطبيق: غلق الصفحة فجأة من قبل المهاجمين، نقص المهنيين المؤهلين للتعامل مع مثل هذه التطبيقات، ونقص الأموال والموارد، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة قيام جميع المكتبات الجامعية بإنشاء تطبيقات لها على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، والتعاون بين المكتبات لتحسين أوضاعها وجذب أكبر عدد من المستفيدين.

The present study deals with social media networks in university libraries. It aims to evaluate and compare the applications of Egyptian and Arab government university libraries on social networks. From this main objective, a set of sub-objectives come out to identify the potential that these networks of university libraries can be exploited in order to achieve the objectives of these libraries and to identify the reality of the use of applications by university libraries, and then establish criteria for evaluating those applications, compare them with Arab university library applications, and identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges (SWOT) for practicing university libraries for network applications. The study then seeks to develop perceptions and proposals that would help university libraries to make optimal use of social networks to achieve their goals and serve their beneficiaries. The study relied on the comparative descriptive and analytical approach. The study also used checklist and produced a series of findings, the most important of which are: Facebook is the most famous application among libraries, and the application achieves a large proportion of the university library's goals. One of the most important strengths is the availability of most of the elements of the standard in the study community libraries, and the most important weakness is the lack of availability of the library catalog in all libraries, the lack of proven publications. The most important opportunities include the presence of better promotions for library applications and the interest of beneficiaries in them. Among the most important threats facing the application are the page being abruptly closed by attackers, lack of qualified professionals to deal with such applications, and lack of funds and resources. The study recommended that all university libraries should create applications for them on social media networks and develop cooperation between libraries to improve their situation and attract the largest number of beneficiaries.
