| 520 | |d Il semble au commun des utilisateurs bilingues ou trilingues que le mot arabe šaǧara (شجرة) ne pose aucun problème de traduction. L'équivalent généralement admis est arbre en français et tree en anglais. Les dictionnaires bilingues français-arabe et anglais-arabe (et leurs converses arabe-français et arabe-anglais) ne proposent aucun choix et confirment unanimement la correspondance, sans alternative, entre les mots šağara, arbre et tree. Leur priorité semble être de fournir plutôt des équivalents à des termes de deux langues différentes que la pertinence linguistique de ces correspondances. Mais cette correspondance biunivoque a tout l'air d'être un leurre et cet usage (moderne) un appauvrissement référentiel que ne connaissait pas le mot šaǧara en arabe classique. | ||
| 520 | |b It seems to bilingual or trilingual users that the Arabic word šaǧara (شجرة) poses no translation problem. The generally accepted equivalent is arbre in French and tree in English. The bilingual dictionaries French-Arabic and English-Arabic (and their converses Arabic-French and Arabic-English) offer no choice and unanimously confirm the correspondence, without alternative, between the words šağara, arbre and tree. Their priority seems to be to provide equivalents in terms of two different languages rather than the linguistic relevance of these correspondences. But this one-to-one correspondence seems to be a decoy and this (modern) use is a referential impoverishment that the word šaǧara in classical Arabic did not know. | ||
| 520 | |a بالنسبة إلى المستعملين ثنائيي اللغة أو ثلاثييها لا تطرح الكلمة العربية "شجرة" أي إشكال في الترجمة. فالمكافئ المقبول عموماً هو "arbre" باللغة الفرنسية و"tree" باللغة الإنجليزية. وبناء عليه، لا تقدم المعاجم ثنائية اللغة عربية – فرنسية وعربية – إنجليزية وكذلك فرنسية – عربية وانجليزية – عربية أي خيار ولا تطرح أدنى بديل، بل تؤكد بالإجماع المقابلات المذكورة، بين الكلمة العربية "شجرة" ومقابلاتها المفترضة arbre وtree. ويبدو أن هدف واضعي تلك المعاجم لا يتجاوز توفير ما يرونه معادلاً من مصطلحات لغتين مختلفتين، ولا يعيرون بالغ اهتمام للدقة اللغوية أول وجاهة تلك المقابلات. إلا أن تلك المقابلات الثنائية الشائعة والمقبولة عموماً لا تبدو مناسبة لواقع اللغة الفصيحة، بل إنها مبنية على وهم أساسه سلب جزء كبير من معنى الكلمة العربية ولا يعدو أن يكون هذا الاستعمال المعاصر سوى إفقار مرجعي لكلمة "شجرة" التي لم تكن تعرف هذا التخصيص الدلالي في لغة الضاد. | ||
