المستخلص: La relation de cause à effet entre les facteurs économiques et la migration est établie dans les recherches sur les migrations internationales. Dans la présente contribution, nous confirmerons le constat que ces facteurs ne sont pas les seuls facteurs à l’origine des flux migratoires en focalisant notre observation des rapports entre les projets migratoires des jeunes algériens et leurs situations sociales et culturelles dans le pays d’origine. A l’aide de l’analyse de contenu des entretiens réalisés avec des jeunes algériens établis en France et d’autres vivant en Algérie, nous montrerons que les situations d’aliénation sociale sont des facteurs déterminants de construction et de réalisation des projets migratoires au sein de la jeunesse algérienne. Les jeunes algériens ne partent pas à l’étranger exclusivement en quête de promotion économique et de nouvelles perspectives sociales, mais aussi en raison du relâchement de leur lien à la famille et à la société et à l’inadéquation des normes et valeurs culturelles héritées avec leurs projets de vie.

كثيرا ما ترتبط عوامل الهجرة بالبطالة وانخفاض المستوى المعيشي لكن وانطلاقا من دراسات ميدانية وصلنا إلى أن هذه العوامل ليست الوحيدة في تجعل الفرد يغادر وطنه، مجتمعه وأسرته وينتقل إلى مجتمع أخر يختلف عنه في كل المقاييس وذلك بحثا عن الاستقرار النفسي والاجتماعي الذي كان يفتقر إليه في وطنه وهو ما يسمى بالاغتراب الاجتماعي والثقافي. وغالبا ما يكون للثقافة المحلية والقيم والمعايير الاجتماعية دورا في خلق صراع بين الآباء والأبناء أو ما يسمى بصراع الأجيال والذي يحدث قطيعة بين الثقافة التقليدية والمعاصرة رغم أن كلاهما مكملة للأخرى إلا أن انعدام الحوار بين الجيلين يعقد الخلافات بينهما فيشعر الشاب بالضغط المفرط الكابح لحريته مما يجعله يبحث عن مجال أخر يثبت في إمكانياته دون تقييد لحريته ومن هنا يبدأ مشروع الهجرة للدول الغربية من خلال التأثر بشبكات الهجرة بالخارج بالتواصل والاحتكاك معها، بالإضافة إلى تأثير وسائل الإعلام من خلال ما تعرضه من صور الرفاهية والرخاء والحريات الفردية عن المجتمعات الغربية.

Immigration is a social phenomenon that has a great impact on the economy of countries and societies. Its reasons are often related to unemployment and low standard of living. However, based on field studies, we found that they are not the only factors that encourage the individual to leave his country, his society, his family, and move to another society which has entirely different values, looking for a psychological and social stability lacking in his homeland. This is called the social and cultural alienation of youth where the individual feels alienated and not belonging to the community because he suffers from maltreatment. This latter does not only appear in the physical or moral assault, but also in the frequent surveillance of everything that the individual does, even in regard to his private life he is subject to constant criticisms and deprived of the opportunity to express his hidden and realize it on the ground. Local culture, values and social norms often play a role in creating conflict between the young people and their parents or the so-called generational conflict, which creates a rupture between traditional and contemporary cultures. Although these cultures complete each other, the lack of dialogue between these two generations complicates the gap between them. This situation pushes the youth to look for another field, in order to demonstrate his abilities without restriction. And hence begins the immigration project for Western countries through the impact of the networks of immigration, and the mass-media which present images of prosperity, luxury, and individual freedoms that characterize the Western societies.
