يتطلب الوصول إلى مستوى الأداء المتميز لأي مؤلفه وخاصة مؤلفات بيتهوفن لآلة البيانو إلى انتباه العازف للكثير من المهارات الفنية التي تحتويها المؤلفة وكذلك الفلسفة التي اتبعها المؤلف عند كتابتها. وقد تميزت صوناتا رقم (٨) مصنف (١٣) للمؤلف الألماني لودفيج فان بيتهوفن والمعروفة باسم الباتيتيك (الحركة الأولى) بالكثير من هذه المهارات كما أن بيتهوفن عند عزف مؤلفته هذه لابد من دراسة فلسفته في كتابتها وذلك من خلال تحليلها. ومعرفة ما تتميز به هذه المؤلفة من فنيات جعلتها من أشهر وأجمل صوناتات بيتهوفن للبيانو التي يحب كل عازف أن يضمها لقائمة معزوفاته، وكذلك معرفة الفلسفة التي استند إليها المؤلف عند كتابتها ومدى تأثير ذلك على أسلوب الأداء. ويشمل البحث على: المقدمة -مشكلة البحث: وتمثلت في عدم تناول الباحثين لصوناتا الباتيتيك بالدراسة والتحليل رغم شهرتها بين العازفين وكونها محببة لديهم لأدائها فوجدت الباحثة ضرورة تناولها بالتحليل والدراسة لمعرفة خصائصها الفنية والفلسفة التي استند إليها المؤلف عند كتابتها وإعكاس ذلك على أسلوب أدائها. أهداف البحث: هدف البحث للتعرف على الخصائص الفنية وفلسفة بيتهوفن في كتابتها وتأثير ذلك على أسلوب الأداء -أهمية البحث -أسئلة البحث -إجراءات البحث -مصطلحات البحث -الدراسات السابقة. كما اشتمل الجانب النظري للبحث على نبذة للجانب النفسي والاجتماعي الذي يعتبر مكون أساسي لتكوين بيتهوفن الفني، وتعريف بالصوناتا في العصر الرومانتيكي، ونبذة عن خصائص العصر الرومانتيكي الفنية. واشتمل الجانب التطبيقي على تحليل الحركة الأولى من صوناتا رقم (٨) مصنف (١٣) لبيتهوفن والمعروفة باسم الباتيتيك. لمعرفة ما تحتويه من خصائص وسمات فنية مميزه والوقوف على الطريقة المثلى لأسلوب أدائها والأسباب التي جعلتها من أهم صوناتات بيتهوفن للبيانو. واختتم البحث بالنتائج وكانت كالتالي:- بنى المؤلف الحركة الأولى على قالب الصوناتا ولكنه أضاف إليها مقدمة في البداية تضمنت الطابع العام للصوناتا. واعتمدت الحركة الأولى على لحنين متقابلين في قسم العرض وقد كان المؤلف يحاول إبراز حالة الحب ثم حالة الصراع بين الرجل والمرأة وعند إدراك العازف لتلك الفلسفة يساعده ذلك على رسم الإطار أو الصورة الخيالية الصحيحة التي تساعده على أداء العمل بشكل جميل ومفهوم وهذا ما يفتقده بعض العازفين والطلاب عند اختيارهم أحد أعمال بيتهوفن لأدائها. كما ظهر بوضوح في ألحان العمل تأثر بيتهوفن بالمؤلف (كليمنتى) وخاصة في التراكيب اللحنية والإيقاعية مع استخدامها في طابعه الخاص. استخدم المصاحبة البسيطة والأسلوب الميلودي. واستخدم التيمات اللحنية عن طريق التصوير في سلالم مختلفة. ثم جاءت التوصيات والمراجع.
