المستخلص: إن المعاجم المتخصصة مهمة جداً في ترجمة النصوص المتخصصة التي تحتوي على مصطلحات غامضة، وتختلف هذه المعاجم عن المعاجم العامة في شرح الكلمة الأصلية وتعريفها وما يقابلها في اللغة الهدف، وقد رافق ظهور العولمة مصطلحات عديدة خلقت مشكلة في ترجمتها، فنجد للمفهوم الواحد عدة مصطلحات مقابلة في اللغة الهدف. ومن هنا ظهر الاهتمام بالمعاجم المتخصصة في الترجمة، خاصة الالكترونية، وذلك لمساهمتها في تسهيل الترجمة وتطويرها. وأصبح العديد من المترجمين بحاجة إلى معاجم وقواميس متخصصة، وذلك لحل مشاكل الترجمة خاصةً العلمية منها. وفي هذا السياق، سوف نناقش دور المعاجم المتخصصة في الترجمة ومساهمتها في مساعدة المترجمين وطلاب الترجمة في حل إشكالية ترجمة المصطلح وتوحيده. كما تساهم في تطوير معارفهم ومهاراتهم وتعزيزها في ترجمة النصوص المتخصصة مثل الاقتصادية والقانونية والطبية، إلخ.

Specialized translation dictionaries are very important in the process of translating, especially in specialized texts because of the ambiguous terms embedded in them. They are much broader than the general bilingual dictionaries which are going from source language to target language. In addition to that, with the globalization, an increasing attention is now appeared by many translators to various types of specialized dictionaries, including specialized online dictionaries for translation. Many translators need assistance from specialized dictionaries for coping with problems in the process of translating and of learning a specific LSP or a specific subject field. Specialized translation dictionaries provide help to solve user needs at various stages of the translation process and combine principles from specialized lexicography and Internet technology. As a result, today lot of translators and lexicographers discussed the role specialized dictionaries play in translation – and particularly translation of specialized texts – is a complex process consisting of various phases or sub-phases where the translator may experience problems and needs that are lexicographically relevant in the sense that they can be satisfied by means of well-conceived dictionaries. This research will exclusively treat specialized dictionaries and will finally focus on the online dictionaries which permit a much more targeted satisfaction of the respective user needs.
