The historical period of the first Abbasid state witnessed many conflicts and alliances among the various political structures, as well as between the kingdoms and other countries. This led to the identification of the political tracks of the Abbasid state from the beginning of its inception, especially its relationship with the Kingdom of the Khazars. This relationship included wars , quiet periods and treaties, so the importance of that period, which ranges between (132 -232 H / 750 -847 AD) is due to the nature of the events that affected this relationship., The origins of this study are divided into two components: The first, the emergence of the Kingdom of Khazars and its borders, and the real reasons for their conversion to Judaism, with the chronological date of this conversion. The second includes the beginnings of the Abbasid state, as well as the narration and analysis of examples of disputes and political alliances between the Khazars and the Abbasids, including political spectacles that influenced the course of events. This element also includes the story of the journey of the Translator Salam because of its explanatory importance regarding the relationship between the Khazars and the Abbasids. The research methodology used in this study is the historical analytical narrative method.
