|a تبرز قضايا الهوية جلية في الأدب العري المكتوب في المهجر، بسبب الصراع الأبدي بين الشرق والغرب، والثقافات المتعارضة في جزء منها مع المعتقد الديني، واختلاف المكان، وألم الغربة والاغتراب، وما ينتج عنها من صراعات نفسية، والحنين إلى الذكريات، والإصرار على تهميش الوافد، والرغبة في تأكيد الذات. وقد تناولت روايات كثيرة الهوية موضوعا لها، بعض هذه الروايات تبنت إبراز الوجه البطرياركي الحقيقي للغرب المتشدق بالحرية والعدالة، وبعضها انشغل بحرص العربي على عدم اندثار مقومات شخصيته، وبعضها اهتم بتشظي الهوية- ومنها مدونة الدراسة- ولعلها أكثر الروايات صدقا في تناول قضايا الهوية، بوقوفها عل مسافة واحدة من الذات والآخر.

|b The issues of identity emerge clearly in the Arabic literature written in Arab diasporacommunities across the world due to the eternal clash between the East and West, the cultures that come into conflicts with the religious belief, difference of the place, pain of the alienation and estrangement, and the psychological conflicts that come out of them as a result, nostalgia for the memories. Insist to marginalize the expatriates, and desire for self-assertion .There are many novels written on these issues that made the identity issue as their subject. Some of them opted to show the real patriarchy face of the West that always boasts for the liberty and justice, while some others showed the intense care of Arab diaspora communities of not to let the ingredients of their personality diminish. Some of these novels also explored the fragmentation and dissolve of the identity in Arab diaspora communities. One of such novels is "Mudawwana Al Dirasa". Perhaps it is the most honest novel in dealing with the issues of identity, by exploring the same distance of self and the other.
