المستخلص: درست الباحثة الخصائص الفنية للمدرك الشكلي لرسومات أطفال اليتم، برزت أهمية البحث في الكشف عن الخصائص الفنية للمدرك الشكلي في رسومات أطفال اليتم، وقد هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن خصائص المدرك الشكلي للتعبير الفني في رسومات أطفال اليتم، درس البحث الخصائص الفنية لرسوم الأطفال في مبحثه الأول، أما المبحث الثاني فقد درس خصائص المدرك الشكلي لرسومات الأطفال، تألف مجتمع البحث من رسومات أطفال اليتم وغير اليتم اذ بلغ (20) من أطفال اليتم (11) من دار البراعم للأيتام و (9) من دار الزهور للأيتام في محافظة بابل، و (30) من أطفال غير اليتم تم إخيارهم من ثلاث مدارس في مركز المحافظة، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي بأسلوب تحليل المحتوى وتوصلت فيه إلى نتائج عديدة تمت مناقشتها واستنتاجات كان أهمها أن الخصائص الفنية للمدرك الشكلي في رسومات أطفال اليتم تتمثل بالآتي (التكرار، المبالغة بالشكل، التسطيح، الفضاء الواسع، خط الأرض الواحد، قلة التفاصيل والجمع بين الرسم والكتابة، وأوصت الباحثة عدة توصيات واقترحت دراسات وثبتت المصادر والملاحق.
