المستخلص: The happiness economy creates a happier society by using economic policy to reach higher levels of happiness, so happiness is the goal and economic policies are the tools, which are necessary to achieve this goal. Income is one of the most important factors that are likely to have an impact on the happiness of the individual in Egypt. The study was based on three questionnaires designed by www.worldvaluesservey.org about the level of happiness in Egypt in the years of 2001, 2008, and 2012, which resulted in the following: • The increase in average per capita income affects the level of happiness in Egypt. • The higher the level of education of individuals the higher the level of happiness, because there is a positive relationship between the level of education and the level of happiness in Egypt. • Improving the state of health of the individual leads to an increase in the level of happiness.
